This is my second beatmap submitted, and my first beatmap of metal! I'm a beginner to set a map, I need people to judge it!
Difficulties :
Sleep : A very easy difficulty for beginners
Get Up! : A Hard map for players who want to increase their gameplay
Straight in the masses : An Insane map not very hard to finish
Catch the walker : A Map for CtB players (not very hard)
Hell : A very hard map

Hey, Here is my few simple, random mods.

Your map is so nice. but your BG image is 1228x768. This have to be lower than 1024x768 So I cut this.

You didn't set your map's preview point. Set it!

Always use distance snap!

you still dont have a preview point. go to timing and select "set preveiew point"

[General]You can remove all the tags, they are already in the Title/Artist/Creator info. No need to add them in the tags.
You need to add a Preview Point. Go to a high point in the song, click Timing > Set Current Position as Preview Point. Make sure to do this on all diffs!

I'm surprised that this map looks good for a 2 star. However, Give more sliders an interesting shape like 02:46:430 (3) - and 02:18:033 (2) - .

02:47:651 (4) - can be a bit farther so that people don't press it immediatly after 02:46:430 (3) - .

I'm not sure about this map, it kinda looks messy, it's really slow for a map that's probably called "Normal" try to add some notes.

Straight in the masses
From00:31:538 (1) - to 00:34:373 (1) - is a bit too jumpy for something that started easier. Maybe try to put the jumps a bit closer to eachother in a better pattern (a star or square or something)

00:49:727 (1) - Looks kinda messy, maybe to try make some ninja sliders or a stream.

02:40:103 (1) - Weird that you put this here since there wasn't anything that changed in the music, it looks like just a sudden spaz of sliders, great idea but weird place.

Further more: The map looks interesting, it misses a nice stream or very "insane" difficulty which would be nice for songs like these.

Hell difficulty is a bit too "Insane" it still has to be readable.
Try to make the circles a bit bigger since it's else not immediatly noticeable where they are.
The speed can be a bit faster if you want.

But I wanted an very Insane map when I called it "Hell"
What is wrong exactly? Approach circle is too fast? Too big jumps? Circles are too littles?

The buttons needs to be 1 bit bigger, and they must come a bit slower.
Also, the space between the circles in the "Stream" or too far from eachother, they need to be a bit closer to eachother.

  2. I suggest trimming a bit of the end of your mp3, to reduce filesize (though it really isn't necessary, so you can skip this suggestion)

Unherited timing points, are when you timing point(s) in each diff are not the same.
If you look on your timeline you'll see red lines, which marks the timing points.

Hi, decided to mod your map as a way of thanking you for your help on mine. (and because I like Parkway Drive lol) It's my first real mod but I hope it's helpful.

So your timing sections are not the same for every difficulty. I guess you changed the timing for one difficulty and then forgot to do it for the rest? Make sure the timing points are the same for every difficulty. Also, you have a lot of unsnapped objects in all difficulties. Just run AiMod (Ctrl+Shift+A) for all diffs and fix all the objects that are not snapped. (even though you already know all that, lol) You'll also have to fix the other problems AiMod mentions: for example, the tags have to be the same for every difficulty and kiai times shouldn't be too short / spammed. Aside from these fundamental problems, there are a few suggestions I have for your map:

Get Up!
Mostly there are a few issues with object placement / distance between notes. For example, some of your notes that have the same time space between them will not have the same distance, and it can get a little confusing for the player. I suggest you use the distance snap for the entire song, and only turn it off for jumps.
00:24:476 (1,2,3) - move these 3 notes a little closer together.
00:35:413 (4,5,6,7,8) - notes 4 and 8 are farther away from the rest, even though they have the same time between them. So, move 4 closer to 5 and 8 closer to 7.
01:21:565 (3,4) - same thing as above, i think it should follow the pattern, 3 needs to be closer to 4.
02:29:679 (1,2,3,4,5) - these notes need to have a little more space between them.
02:30:722 (1) - you could add a note here.

Straight in the masses
Same thing as previous difficulty, i think you need to move some of the objects so that they have the same distance between them if they have the same time between them. Spacing isn't as strict for Hard / Insane difficulties but i still think it's important for good map flow.
00:30:489 (1,2,3) - i think this combo start is too close to the previous one, maybe move it a bit farther away?
00:40:729 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - try to arrange these notes a little better, so that they have the same space between them
03:00:175 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - try moving these notes a little further from each other, like this combo for example -> 03:13:499 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)

Hell
Well not much to say about this one since it's supposed to be hard, the only thing i didn't really like about it are a few streams:
00:21:127 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - I think the spacing between the notes on this stream is too big. It's not that the stream is too hard, i just don't think it fits very well.
02:20:502 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - same as above
02:26:149 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - same as above
I don't think these streams are bad but i think the map would "feel" better if they had a little shorter distance between notes, like the other shorter streams on this diff. It's up to you.

  1. How you clap pattern should look:

    Objects that lands on the ticks marked with an x are the ones that needs a clap. Only the ones on the ticks with the x.
  2. How your finish-hitsonud pattern should look:
  3. Select 'Re snap All notes' and that should fix all those unsnapped objects.
Apply them to all your diffs ^^

  2. I suggest you lowering the Slider velocity, sliders look pretty fast since the BPM's over 200. Try using 0.70 or 0.80

00:17:772 (1,2) - Should look similar in shape. I dislike how 00:19:184 (2) - is touching the previous slider.

I see you've improved on the rhythm ,which is ok. But the flow is still a little confusing, and some of the sliders looks too sassy imo :S
Remember, even the simplest curved sliders can be used effectively. Many ranked maps have curved or even straight sliders, as long as they're used to create a good flow ^^

As for hit sounds, I'll try to check them once the rhythm and flow of this diff becomes acceptable (Not like 100% perfect, but when I see that the flow doesn't go all tipsy-curvy).
Also, when making the flow of your objects, try to have them circle around the borders of the map, instead of always crossing in the center. That would definitely get rid of those overlaps :)
