Well in O2Jam there was a 3-key mode I think it was R Shift, L Shift and Enter. Would like to have it added.

There would be no challenge in a 3 key mode. This isn't like a touch based game, we still have to make rhythm out of a 300 BPM map. 3 keys is just not enough room to place the notes.

Neither does it matter if it is touch based or keyboard or arcade controller or anything like that. Im still curious about how you interprete the number of playkeys with BPM. You really seem to know what you are talking about..
3K gameplay is really too old its mostly a drum mode gameplay. 4K is totally fine and even for beginners.
Also 3K uses a layout which is unfriendly to beginners and 4K uses both hands index fingers and middle fingers, which is quite easy.
Less keys = more high BPM jackhammers. This is just a stupid idea. I'm going to deny this.
