0.75 slowest, 1.0 normal, 1.25 kai


it would be even more fun if you mapped a lot more on the red ticks
at around 01:46:476 for example

1.0n and 1.25k! couldn't find a place for 0.75 on the map. or much rather, I felt like it was a bit too slow for my mapping taste. remapped a few sections! thanks~

Hi, from #modreqs. My first mod ever, i hope i can help in spite of my lack of experience.

If any of my suggestions contradict your design idea feel free to let me know.

Black: Suggestion
Red: Error/unrankable
Green: Comment, no need to take these seriously or respond to them at all.
Pink: Cosmetic, what i think would look good, ignore if you disagree.

[General]

Maybe extend the bg image to 1366x768 it is one of the reccomended widescreen formats, it should be simple to accomplish with any editor.
Another player suggested -10 offset, i couldnt really tell the diffrence myself, perhaps future modding will.
Maybe add another combo color for varietys sake, i suggest this (greenish cyan) or similar if it blends too much with the bg, just an idea.
Alternatively you might consider adding the music video for this song, it shouldnt be too hard, but yeah we both know everybody will just dim it anyway. Or maybe that defeats the purpose of this set?

I honestly believe you should reduce the number of kiai toggles :( , a number of them felt unneccesary and distracting, most likely because theres a note on top of where the fountain comes up in certain places. If this is the effect you intended to create please reconsider. If you do decide to keep the kiai i highly reccomend remapping the parts around the toggles to make it less disruptive.

00:07:854 (1,2,3,4) - Maybe move this up to align with 00:07:382 (4) - it flows and looks a bit better imo. I really like this combo btw gj.
00:13:523 (3) - Align with 00:13:051 (2) - maybe. 02:29:586 (1,2) - These could line up nicer too.
00:19:193 (1,2,3,4) - You could turn these into nice blankets, and add a bit of symmetry like this:01:03:130 (1) - You should probably redo this or remove it completely, the note appearing in this location after the spinner creates an unintended jump which is probably too harsh for an easy. This could be an ideal location for another break. Or remove the spinner and map something else in its place.

Extend the last slider? idk maybe more experienced modders can say.
00:15:413 (1) - I dont see a reason to stop adding whistles here? In fact you might consider starting to add some finish sounds from 00:11:634 (1) - to accentuate the new instrument joining the song. You already started but i think you should continue to emphasize the downbeat all the way, this is what happens in the song with few exceptions afaict. I'm sorry if this suggestion seems vague i'm really an amateur with hitsounds myself.
02:22:027 (1) - From here i think you should use the same sounding scheme as you use in the start of the song and continue till the spinner.

Many of my cosmetic suggestions involve blanketing i guess, maybe you just dont like those? If thats the case then im sorry if i didnt really understand what you were trying to do.

Generally speaking i think this could use a small difficulty increase to bridge the gap between Past and Forever better, as it is it feels a bit too similar to the easy. I have the same concern with the kiai toggles here, although it's not that noticeable in this difficulty because there isnt any notes on the edges.
Before you read the rest of this i feel you should know that i am litteraly OCD, i will point out as many minor aesthetic flaws as i possibly can. I spent a lot of time doing this and i honestly hope it's not wasted. I know some people take offense to so called nazi-modding, consider this a disclaimer that my intent is purely to help improving maps. As i already know a few things about you i don't believe youre one of those people, nevertheless i feel i have to make this clear since this is a public forum and anyone can see these messages.

02:32:421 (4,1) - You could make this look a bit nicer by properly blanketing 4s sliderend.
02:41:870 (4,5) - These are not aligned.
02:42:578 (5,2) - And these could align aswell.
For hitsounds my suggestion is the same as with easy. Theres a few places where i think a finish sound would fit. Besides that i really can't say. Obviously you dont have notes in the same places but i think youre smart enough to figure this out.

I'm a bit wary about commenting on the mapping itself, for what its worth i was able to SS this without issues, and nothing seemed weird to me.

Overall this map already feels well polished and pretty much complete, so my suggestions for this can be completely disregarded if you feel like it. Maybe i can give you some ideas at least.

00:04:547 (2) - I like these, very nice antijumps.
00:18:956 (3) - This doesnt fit imo, i think it would be better to remove and maybe extend the preceeding slider to here.
00:28:405 (6) - Same here, maybe turn 5 to a slider?
00:30:295 (4) - Same.
01:47:303 (2) - I would remove this one too.
02:14:232 (7) - And this.
02:31:240 (6) - And this.
02:33:130 (4) - Yeah dont like this one either.
02:47:776 (2) - Not a fan of this note. All these dont feel disruptive for playing or anything, i just feel it would be more accurate without them.

And in similar places for the rest of the song. More or less this is just my gut feeling. If you consider these suggestions do it with caution.

01:21:555 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5) - I dont agree with these spacing changes tbh, particularly with notes on blue ticks. Maybe im just being nitpicky, dont change this unless someone else agrees with me.
01:56:279 (2,3,4,5,1) - This could maybe flow better? Not really sure.
01:40:925 (3,4,5) - This could flow better too.
02:16:594 (3) - This doesnt really match the song, it seems more correct back 1/4 beat, i'm not sure what i would do with this myself, maybe just remove?
02:18:956 - Maybe try some jumps here? Just an idea as you could possibly create a nice effect with jumps and then gradually reduce spacing from 02:19:901 (4) - Or it could be the worst idea ever!
02:21:082 - Imo you should reduce this spinner back 1/2 beat and add a note here instead. It feels more accurate and auto does get 2000 bonus, i myself however barely manage 300.
02:51:792 (7) - I would turn this into a stream or a 1/4 beat repeat slider.
03:05:256 (2) - Disagree with this note. Imo would be better to put something here 03:04:311 - and here 03:04:783 - instead.
