Still, Russian Federation (same applies to former USSR) as a whole is considered an European country.
I forget the west part of Asia is even a part of Asia too.

I actually think of Korea first, geographically. Then it expands out to China, and then I remember that I'm actually a weeb and that Japan should be the first thing I think about.
Philippines, people asking which part I live so I'm used to having it as first thought. Vietnam if I randomly hear it.
