[Archived] Lost pp form getting an higher pp play

So i made an higher pp play by 20 pp than my last play but my account actually lost 5 pp from that play.
Not like its a big deal but im just interested to know why it happened

That +29pp seems to be comparing against your DT only play with 95% accuracy. Did you have a HDDT play that was worth more than both your DT only play and this one, but lower in score than both too?

I had an HDDT play that was worth more than my DT play in pp and was lower in score but that was lower in pp from this play.

It deducted because even though you scored higher, your performance got lower (accuracy). And PP's are calculated based on overall performance rather than just the score. (combo, accuracy, speed, hit circle distance, etc.)

That +29pp isn't weighted, but when it is weighted, that's the -5pp.
