Mad Father is horror adventure game that is similar to Ib and The Witch's house. (Links will be provided for these 3 games) ~

Personally, I prefer Ib over these other games but they're just as great ~

Mad Father is about a young girl named Aya who lives with her dad who is a "doctor" and his assistant Maria. One night, Aya hears her father scream and finds her house riddled with corpses and other supernatural things that are trying to kill her. She wanders around the house in search for him. While doing that, Aya encounters the horrors of what her father has really done.

Anyone currently playing it or has played it?

Just played and finished.
Probably one of the fewest horror game I can play (due to graphics).
The game is very good, but where is the real "good end"? I managed to reach the true end, but it isn't a "good" end :(

I really need to look into the forums more often. Anyways, I heard of this game before and I never did get to finish (Promised my friend we both will play it together) but I did enjoy the game, went to youtube to see who else played it and saw one person so far till it went BOOM, more people play it....dear jeebus.

Just finished playing this with HolyBoy (got stuck on some stupid parts that I really shouldn't of gotten stuck on).
Definitely a game worth playing once, will be trying the other 2 soon as well.

As for the "main" ending:
Why did Aya have to find that book D:. It would of been such a happy ending without it... it did fit the story nicely though with her following on from her fathers work.
Running away from the father with the chainsaw was prob my fav. scene in the game.

I got stuck too, I had to look at walkthroughs. ;w;
The ending I got wasn't so great either D:

It was the father, he killed Maria and turned Aya into a doll.

Anddddd done with Witch's House.

I would say for anyone that likes longer storylines/backtacking Mad Father is better (super metroid fans anyone?)
Witch's house had some much better puzzles overall though. I got stuck on that 4 corner math puzzle for like 10 minutes -_-

For anyone that gets to the end of Witches house make sure to go to that cabinet near the beginning then leave to see an extra ending. There is also extra dialogue if you don't use any saves during the whole game...but I am just going to youtube that.

I know seriously :(, was like, don't do it, don't do ittttttt.

Just watched a preview of Ib and it looks.........odd. But will try it tomorrow!
