Hi! I'm a fairly new player and have been working on completing gradually more difficult maps on grade A or higher in order to progress and improve. I noticed, though, that some of the maps won't updat ethe garde i got. For example, on GLITCH Normal by LukHash/Mao, I got an S rank, but it won't change and still says my best grade is a B. Help? This has also happened on other maps.

You may have gotten a better letter grade, but your combo wasn't higher. As a result, you didn't actually beat your score. Check your local rankings using this drop-down to double check which is the highest score, as it's the actual number that matters:
Also, it's possible that it has simply not submitted exactly at the moment you left the results screen, check local plays (or click global leaderboards again) to see if your new score ks actually the best one or mot
