- The tournament will be a osu!catch, International, 1v1, double-elimination tournament with two separate tiers
- The tournament will consist of 32 players in each tier after qualifiers.
- Matches will be Head to Head with Score V2 as the win condition
- Tier 1 will for players ranked #1,000 - #1 and Tier 2 will be for players ranked #5,000 - #1,001
- Players will be placed their tier depending on their rank when registration ends
- All players will undergo a screening by both osu! staff and tournament staff after registrations end. Any players who have been screened out or found to have suspicious behaviors will be disqualified
- NO STAFF with the exception of streamers, commentators and GFX artists are allowed to play in the tournament in their rank range
- All players must treat staff and other participants with respect, any kind of mistreatment in a match or on discord (this includes extreme toxicity, racism, homophobia) will result in a BAN from the tournament
- Common sense is to be applied in all cases of a rules discussion and administrators reserve the right to apply judgment as they see fit according to common sense
- Matches and qualifier lobbies are played on Saturday and Sunday (with some exceptions) and the mappools are released on Monday
- Reschedules will be allowed if both players agree on a time and use tosurnament bot in the discord to reschedule
- Please be aware that reschedules must be submitted 12 hours before both the old match time and the new match time. Reschedules beyond this point will only be accepted on a case by case basis in extenuating circumstances.
- Joining the discord server and changing your name to your osu!username is a REQUIREMENT TO REGISTRATION
- Qualifiers:
- The qualifier pool will consist of 2 NMs, 1 HD, 1 HR and 1 DT
- Each player in the lobby will play each map in the mappool twice, with the higher of the two plays being their official score for that map
- Each player’s seed will be determined by the sum of their ranks on each map compared to the other players (ex. getting 1st on NM1 adds 1 to your overall score, the player with the lowest score will be first seed etc.)
- Players will sign up for qualifier lobbies for their range rank in the discord sometime before the lobby begins
- Players can request for extra lobbies during qualifiers weekend but these cannot happen during or after the RO32 mappool showcase
- Referees will message the players and remind them of their lobby 10 minutes before the lobby starts and invites will go out 5 minutes before the lobby starts
- If a player doesn’t show up to their lobby 10 minutes after it’s scheduled time, the lobby will start without them and they will have to schedule to another lobby
- Players that didn’t schedule for any qualifier lobbies will be disqualified from future stages
- In between maps, players have 90 seconds to ready up before the map starts
- Once all maps are played through twice, the players are free to leave and the lobby will be closed
Match Procedures: - If a player needs to reschedule their match, they will do so using the Tosurnament bot in the discord server in the #reschedule text channel
- Referees will message the players and remind them of their match 10 minutes before the lobby starts and invites will go out 5 minutes before the lobby starts
- If a player doesn’t show up to their lobby 10 minutes after its scheduled time, the match will result in a win by default for the opposing player
- Each player can choose 1 warm up map before their match.
- The warm up map must be under 4 minutes long, and must be played under “head to head” or “team versus”
- After the warmups, both players will roll
- The winner of the roll will choose to ban first or pick first, the other player will pick the remaining option.
- Each player will have 1 or 2 bans per match (depending on the stage)
- Players will alternate picks
- Each player has 90 seconds to pick a map, both players have 60 seconds to ready up
- If the player doesn't pick on time, the pick goes to their opponent, if players don't ready on time, the match is started anyways
- If both players are one point away from winning the match, the tiebreaker will be played.
- HD is allowed on HR, DT and TB but is not required
- NF is required on all maps for Tier 2 but Tier 1 will only enforce on maps deemed necessary
- If a player is disconnected within 30 seconds of the map starting, a replay will be played. If a disconnection occurs after 30 seconds, the opponent will have the option to choose to take the point or conduct a replay.
- If a player disconnects three times within a match, their opponent will win by default.
- If a player cannot rejoin the lobby within 10 minutes of their disconnection, their opponent will win by default.
