fanzhen joined the party and oops this map has been finally revived, was in the graveyard 5 months orz.

I think you're aware that this is... not appropriate for a beginner, or rather, any, difficulty. Also, da fk is this OD0. It seems to just attempt to hide the unreadable hard to read unreadable patterns' flaws with spacing and positioning on 1/2 beats.

I think I should say this before this getting ranked or something, but you should at least use AR2-3 for Beginner, AR1 makes the diff near unreadable and stressful for beginners in some spots due the high ammout of objects in the screen with "irregular" timing ( like in 00:17:680 -)

I agree with some people that modded here spacing is weird (0.6x) but can be readable as it's consistent, so I won't complain that much there, but the object density in the screen is what worries me the most, and if you follow NatsumeRin's suggestions about the 1/2 notes and increase the AR, you could at least use OD2 or even 1, OD0 is just a joke imo.

(And maybe increase Normal settings by 1 except CS to create a better spread in these values if the suggestion above is taken).

Sorry but I have to pop this map due to the new rule about difficulty names as you can read here: p/2725713

Make sure to rename "fanzhen" and "kiddly x Skystar" difficulty to something that actually shows which kind of difficulty is that like "fanzhen's Extra" and "Another".

Once you've fixed it I'll repair your bubble.

All fixed, and I have rearranged the diff with 1.0x spacing and changed some rhythm that might be weird for beginners.

Hi so I hadn't seen this map until like 5 minutes ago but I think that some things need to be addressed:

The use of distance spacing and slider velocity changes in Extra are so completely unreadable I think this map should be (oh here comes the word...) unranked and modified before rerank. The changes are used so briefly and coupled with the wild use of DS changes with such little notice in the song is too extreme and unreadable. There are no sliderticks which makes the SV changes even harder to see and the map is just in complete disarray.

Here are some examples of unreadable sliders:

00:11:014 (1,1,2,1) - How will the player know the last (1) is slower?
00:17:680 (1,1) - There is almost no way to tell the second (1) is faster. (No the NC doesn't help)
00:20:263 (2,1,1,1,1) - Again, just how does the player tell? NC's doesn't mean readable.
00:43:847 (1,2) - How will anyone see this coming?
01:21:680 (1,1) - Again here.

Here are some examples of DS unreadability:

00:27:181 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,4,1) - One of the most basic rules of mapping is that objects that are 1/2x slower than others are spaced 1/2x apart. This is very unreadable!
00:28:347 (1,2,3,4) - Same here. There is nothing in the music that supports these jumps, and why is the spacing between (2) and (3) and (3) and (4) so different when they are all 1/2 apart?
00:37:014 (4,1,2,3,4,2,3,4,5) - Same as first point.
00:49:180 (1,1,2,1,2,1) - The spacing of this stream makes playing it so awkward and jumpy, rather consistant spacing would be much nicer and more readable.
00:49:680 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - Why not just have consistant spacing between these jumps?
00:51:014 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,1,1) - Same here with the stream spacing. Also, why is the slider so scrunched?


Please consider this post greatly.

That's intentional - AR here is enough high, so that one SHOULD be able to see the different between them. I played this map a lot of times before and i must say that it is works enough intuitive to see what was going on. Again, justified for the hardest diff.

I don't see any real issues in this map - it was checked by a lot of modders and accepted by 3 BATs. Also, i want ask you - did you even played it? There are huge difference between playing it and just looking on editor.

01:13:681 (1,2,1) - You cannot tell which way the slider track is going. The slider passes over itself twice. It simply goes too fast and is too strict.

01:13:681 (1) - I also broke combo here once, but not for twice
I think it's actually really easy to handle, based on tick rate 1
you could simply click its head, and then head straightly to the reverse point, waiting for the sliderball, same thing after reversing
01:14:847 (1) - same here, no need to follow the sliders' trail with the sliderball for any player who's clever enough

So I think this simply should not be regraded as a problem and, of course not an unrankable issue

About the two groups of stacking sliders, I do't know how
The rankability is always judged by mappers' / BAT's experience here, about the slider overlaps
how to stack to make it rankable, and how it wouldn't be
I confuse as well, at times when I wanna stack sliders
There's not a clear concept about this
And there's not a standard to judge its playability.
I properly read it at the first time
and I think no players would be thrown off at that point twice if he's capable for Skystar diff (well, no Skystar anymore)
Just hoping anyone would make it clear and convincing here, to tell how would it be rankable, and how would not

and for fanzhen's extra. dkun is right to tell that there's no beat at that point but still,
I don't regard it as an unrankable issue as it's only one 1/2 baet, a common and ordinary rhythm, which doesn't do such harm to the map
Don't piss me off by saying "Wow then I'm gonna make a map filled with beats at points where there's no music"
anyone who is reasonable can tell the difference between these cases
I admit it may be better if that part got rearranged, without that single beat, which shouldn't exist but,

I went through the Extra very slowly to make sure we don't miss anything.
The antijump you put at 1:30 works really well, good job!
I only found one more thing that might hold the Extra back from ranking, and that's the very end during the big symmetrical pattern.

01:51:847 (1) - doesn't work because there is no sound at 01:51:847.
Maybe a redesign of the pattern would help? http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1160403 , http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1160405 , it will still be symmetrical and the voice at 01:50:514 - will still be there :D

00:20:514 (1) - This is too close to the next slider. Try shortening the spinner to 00:22:347.
01:15:514 (3) - This slider is one pixel away from touching the boundary! http://puu.sh/5HPEx.jpg I recommend moving it down so it isn't so close.

All fixed in Another, Hyper and Beginner.
For Extra diff: I guess it's fine to keep that rhythm since the claps there sound really cool, I didn't even notice that it's just hitsounds while checking and playing it. Anyway let's leave it up to fanzhen.
