Streams = single notes
Jumps = 2 notes at the same time
Hands = 3 notes at the same time
Quads = 4 notes at the same time
Chords = Jumps, Hands and Quads
Jack = when notes repeat on the same column
Chordjack = Chords that create jacks
Jumpstream = jumps + stream patterns
Hand/Quadstream = same as jumpstream but with Hands or Quads
Bursts = A lot of notes in a short span
Tech = Uncommon patterns. But Technical can also be used to describe accurately charted files
Dump = patterns that overemphasize sounds, like making a hold sound be a burst, or making up sounds to keep the flow of the patterns. Good for making more unique and challenging files without having to be held back by bpm and other stuff.
Either way dumps can be a lot of things, so its hard to give a precise definition without giving many examples, and im 2 lazy for that ngl
but ye those are probably the most basic ones, theres more, but you shouldnt worry about memorising them, theyll stick over time b
