I've shed a few tears at a lot of series, but off the top of my head, Anohana was the first one to make me actually sob. Clannad is another one that does it. I'll put it on sometimes if I know I need to cry, but can't otherwise.

Erased didnt make me cry but it's a masterpiece and a bit sad and i think i cried on Case Closed can't remember
I watched 「Hotarubi no Mori e」when I was 10 years old, I remember crying quite a bit after that one
