I recently finished to map this : beatmapsets/1256431#mania/2610951

I would really appreciate to have some feedback, it's my very first map and i tried my best using hitsound, like i've writted on the description of the map : "don't hesitate"

I just want to improve and know what's going wrong, how to fix some of my mistakes etc..

Have nice day ! :D

PS : First time using Forum, so if i'm wrong posting there tell me !

First of all, finding the right bpm and offset of this song

Your original Offset: 41,071ms change to 5070ms

Offset should be at the beginning of the patterns(your patterns start from 00:05:070 so it should be set right here )

Your original BPM: 210.00 most likely be 204.00

Every amazing map start from the right offset and bpm good luck and keep'n mapping:>

Thank you so much for the feedback !

How did you find precisely the BPM ? If you have any tips that is necessary to know, i would like to know them

Obviously i don't know a lot of thing at mapping, so i'll be grateful to learn from you

Again thank for this feedback !

Timing isn't too complicated. To find the offset, play the song in 25% speed. The metronome should start ticking at the same time the first important sound is played (most of the cases). The BPM is basically the same thing. If your offset is correct and you notice it is desyncing, your BPM is wrong.

Timing is pretty simple, so you will get the hang of this soon if you keep on mapping. Good luck on your mapping career!

25% offset finding has been discouraged imo

First of all, Thanks you for your advice !

Sorry to answer this late, i think i tried to set the offset with 50% that's probably why there is a little gap, next time i'll do it with 25%

Do you noticed any other thing that i can correct or even learn from it ?

Have nice day !
