My first beatmap. Pretty easy. what else could i say...

03/27 : Hard difficulty added.
03/28 : Changed circles&spinners location in Easy and Normal (a bit in Hard too) changed Hard overall difficulty.
03/30 : Added circles in Normal&Hard mode.
03/31 : Added whymeman's submissions

use "distance snap" if you can't set notes with same space



why use it?

1.those notes you set were rankable :(

2.it can helps you map easier to place notes ;)

3.just use! and remap i guess :|

I've redone my beatmap with the "Distance Snap" feature. Is it OK now ?

Hmm.... intesting beatmap and I like the song ^_^ :)

Lets see what I can find. And some of the errors I post are only suggestions, not directions. There might be some errors i've missed, but still not that hard to notice.

[Easy]

00:11:48 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) Maybe you can try to organize the shape of this to make it look more presentable?
00:21:01 (2,3) - (3) seems kinda close, you may need to us DS to fix that.
00:25:78 (1,2) - That's a bad jump from (1) to (2).
00:31:92 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - This section could use some organization to make it look better.
00:42:84 (1) - after (12) this one could have some more distance.
00:48:96 (5) - Could use some more space after (4).
00:52:03 (1) - This note sounds kinda off. Maybe moving it to 00:52:20 would make it sound better?
00:55:78 (2) - Needs to be closer to (1). You can try to counter-clockwise it to make it fit easily and save some time. After that, try to align and strighten out the placement of the hitnotes after this slider.
01:06:69 (1) - This pops out way before the spinner note is finished. Try moving this to the right 1 whole note (white tick).
01:14:19 (1,2,3) - Try to even these out to get that even triangle shape (if that is what you was going for).
01:22:39 (7) - Try making this the start of a new combo
01:25:80 (8,9) - "wondering timming". Try to resnap the timming of these back in place.
01:42:150 - Sounds like there should be a note here....
01:44:20 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14) - That's a long combo for an easy difficulty. Maybe try starting a new one where (9) is?
01:53:74 (11) - The slider looks kinda funny.... Maybe you can try to shape it up better?
02:16:92 (3,4) - (4) is way too close. This needs some space.
02:25:78 (1) - a bit too far from the end of the previous slider.
02:33:30 (1) - This slider goes on a bit too long. Maybe a small break with a note or two then to continue the slider after?
03:18:98 (1) - The spinner seems kinda long and there is already alot of them. Maybe you can use sliders here?
03:30:56 (5) - New combo?
03:36:70 (1) - An even longer spinner ._. ;;
03:56:46 (1) - Take the "new combo" off this and move it to note (2). (It will turn into note #3 after removing the newcombo)
04:10:11 (1,2) - The spacing doesn't match with the timming of the beats. Try moving (1) closer.
04:12:84 (3) - Too close to (2)
04:24:77 (1,2,3,4) - The note placement here is odd. (2) might be better unstacked and 04:25:80 (3,4) is too close.
04:36:35 (4) - New combo?

Note: There's alot of spinners on this level, but I don't have much say unless its a problem for someone else.

[Normal]

00:11:46 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Looks disorganized. Try to make it nice and neat like setting it in a shape or row.
00:22:03 (7,8,9,10) - Looks uneven and the spacing doesn't seem to match each other (using .8x DS?).
00:28:51 (2,1) - (2) is too close to (1).
00:30:90 (2) - A bit too far from (1).
00:33:62 (4,5) - (5) is way too close to (4). Try to give it some space.
00:36:01 (7) - Maybe the new combo should start here instead?
00:51:36 (8) - "wondering note". Try to resnap the timming on this one.
00:55:10 (7,8) - Too close to each other.
00:58:52 (9,1) - ^
01:03:91 (1) - "wondering note" again. Try to resnap the timming on this spinner.
01:06:63 (1,2,3,1,2) - Another section of "wondering notes" to resnap.
01:16:92 (4) - New combo?
01:22:37 (12) - I think this should be the new combo point
01:26:41 (3), 01:27:09 (5 & 6) - More "wondering notes".
01:32:94 (7) - New combo?
01:36:01 (2) - ^
01:38:74 (7) - ^ (instead of (1) after?)
01:47:60 (5) - new combo?
01:53:06 (12,13) - Uneven spacing.
02:04:59 (1) - "wondering note" on this spinner again.
02:13:11 (7,8) - More "wondering notes".
02:16:86 (4,5) - ^
02:19:65 (7) - The end of this slider looks a bit funny....
02:42:09 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15) - "wondering note" on (1) and try to break the combo maybe at (7)?
02:49:59 (1) - Once more, a "wondering note" on this spinner.

Well, after that, its the same repeated errors. I don't want to type too much to the point it streches the page ^_^;;

But what happened to the first break time?

It has simmilar as listed above like the long combos at 00:31:24 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20). And the "wondering notes" and spacing.

Here is what I mean by "wondering notes".



Don't feel bad about having all these errors. Everyone in osu had a rough start making maps but I do have high hopes for this one so i'll star it since its worth the attention. :) . Also, the map is almost 5 minutes long. Try making it up to at least around a low 3 minutes. Oh and one more thing to note, you may need to add some more details for the song setup. Its missing the tags for the search.

I'll try to make an example that can help, but for the mean time, try to check on the beatmap and look into the errors.

Here's my example copy. I can't say its 100% good but it should help to give an idea of how the map should look with even spacing, properly timmed notes and properly divided combos, and more.

It took a while to map this out but I hope this help :D

Thanks for the advides :D ; i corrected most of "wondering notes" and set the end of the map at 04:28. Is it better now ?

Hmmm.... well 4:28 can work since the song isn't "repetitive". But if you're just starting out on making a map, then about 3 minutes is fine too.

Now you just need to work on the placing the hit notes and sliders evenly. Oh and did you get to download the example i've made for you?

Edit: Also, one more thing to keep in mind of. The longer the map is, the more different kinds of patterns you'll have to use. If you end up using the same pattern over and over, it might make the player think the map is not that interesting. But to also make those patterns, they have to: 1.) Be evenly spaced 2.) Its within the "flow" of the song and not just "here & there".

Edit 2: From what I found out so far, this song is from the anime MacrossF(Frontier). You should add that to the song details in edit mode.
