Whats OU?Overused Pokemon. Blissey, Garchomp, Electivire, Tyranitar, Skarmory etc
As far as I know, Garchomp is, indeed, a standard play Pokemon.m980 wrote:

RulesetWhat. It's a fucking computer game. There are no rules. Tourneyfags can GTFO.
Rulesets are existent in the 3D games. Also maybe in the DS ones, I dunno. But, some people dislike double team spammers. They just need to get an attack with 100% hitchance, luuzerz.neo@lex wrote:

I'm still training my team. I would love to trade some 1st/2nd gen Pokemon. I have tons of Porygon and Riolu (eggs and lvl1s) if anyone wants them.
And anyone have any spare Growlithes? I can't get any...Catch me on IRC
KadadaThat's what I'll call you from now on.

I like shinies because I think they're pretty. ^o^ And I use a Seviper (shiny disco variety, nonetheless) in my competitive team. I EV and do all that stuff so I can get my favourites to perform. Because there's nothing more awesome than a properly trained team of favourites taking out a poorly built team of n00bers.Echo wrote:

This really sucks, though, I think I accidentally released my Lugia (from Pokemon XD) (well, that or I lost it when I deleted my Diamond/Pearl). I gotta start playing that again. :/ At least I still gotz my Mew (legimate).
I've actually discussed with people at work/university only to find they like Pokémon too!xerxes_oli wrote:

No, it's because the only thing that can counter its best set is Cloyster. When EVd properly, it can survive unSTABbed Ice Beams from a defensive Starmie even without Yache.MetalMario201 wrote:
I'd say just keeping Garchomp from holding items would do the trick. Part of Garchomp's uberness is how unpredictable it is. They come in physical, special, and mixed varieties, and could be holding a Scarf or Yache Berry. Taking away his item makes him more predictable, and thus, counterable.Zekira wrote:
In terms of battling, Smogon's tiers is supreme and superior, so we're following tiers there (though I'm not pretty sure if my UU team is still organized). For those who are old to competitive battling -- Garchomp is now uber, while non-SD Latias is not, so don't complain. Lol.
Meh, I think he's a stupid ugly thing, so I don't use him anyway.
