Why is this white bar there?

I am fooling around with a skin. I used the selection-options.png file to add a small overlay to the stats part. After I did that, a white bar appeared. Its a few pixels wide and I have no clue where it comes from. I triple checked the element. The bar is not contained in the element. There is no other skinned part in that area so I am really confused.

I hope someone can help here...
(I do not plan on releasing the skin here. So no worries)

Its a problem of the rendering. Make sure that you always end with even canvas sizes and if something like this happens just try to get rid of it by adding a black pixel in that direction

I've come across this before when skinning in Photoshop. I have still not figured out why this happens, even saving as PNG-24 doesn't seem to change anything. However I solved it by just running them through another program I use for quick image processing called "Photoscape". Re-saving it removes these white borders. This one should work better https://imgur.com/a/RjN8aGB

Thx Flanster! Your version works now! (I used Paint.NeT xD) So the problem isn't Photoshop specific.
