[resolved] bitdefender detect osu with a virus

I started osu today and bitdefender poped up with this message: The item D:\TheGeekyDog\Games\osu!\repair osu!.lnk is infected with Gen:Suspicious.Cloud.4.@p2@aS@hK0b and was moved to quarantine.
I guess there is a new update and they added a file that bitdefender detected, I will wait to play until this problem is fixed because if it's bitdefender it's probably bad. hope for a fix

Most likely a false positive on Bitdefender's end or you have something else on your computer that is infecting your files.

The file that it's detecting is a shortcut, doesn't even have anything to really do with the game itself.

I have this EXACT problem, I tried starting the game up, then I moved it to quarantine and it deleted everything associated with osu. Also when I try reinstalling, it doesn't work. My plan is to make Bitdefender think osu is fine. because it is.
