  1. 00:02:366 (2) - The spacing here is a bit close (0.97x), I would try to fix it.
  2. 00:15:981 (2) - This slider sounds weird when playing. I guess it's because it doesn't follow the vocal that well. How about removing the Reverse, moving it to 00:16:443 and adding a note where the slider previously started? (http://puu.sh/1HFMd)
  3. 00:57:058 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - I think there are too many single notes for Easy, maybe it can become difficult for starters? How about transforming, for example, 3~4 and 6~7 into sliders? (http://puu.sh/1HFRq)

[General]

  1. Please use this version of the background image which is 1024x768:
    Your current one is 1022x767. It may not matter, but I think it's better.

  2. In my opinion, the normal sample set is not fitting well with this song. The normal set is making the hitsounds very loud and obnoxious and it's ruining this nice sweet song. I highly suggest that you change all timing sections before the kiai time to soft sample set. Plus, the transition from soft to normal at the kiai time will sound very good because that is the sort of thing that is happening in the music. I'll try and give some suggestions in each difficulty.
    I did all the hitsound modding here with these changes made.

  3. I really recommend starting the kiai time at 00:33:981 instead.
[Easy]

Map Design / Rhythm
  1. 00:03:981 (3) - The blanket is a bit off here. Move the 3 to (472,240) to make it perfect.

  2. 00:11:827 (1) - I suggest following the same rhythm here that you did at 00:04:443 (1,2,3,4,5) because the music is repeated and the one you are using right now sounds very strange. Shorten 00:11:827 (1) so that it ends at 00:12:520.

  3. 00:30:981 (1) - This spinner really needs to be changed. The 00:33:520 (1) appears before the spinner is even halfway done and it can be very confusing for beginners. Plus the gap between 00:30:289 and 00:30:981 right now is very awkward. I suggest moving the spinner to 00:30:751 and having it end at 00:32:597. This fits the music and gives the player time to recover afterwards, and also we don't have the spinner starting on the red tick which was weird.

  4. 00:46:674 (3,4) - I don't like the gap between the 3 and 4 here, I think it's very awkward to play. Can I suggest a different rhythm?

    00:45:058 (1) to 00:48:751 (1)
    There are no weird gaps and we follow the vocal line well.

  5. 00:54:058 (3) - This slider looks very strange. :O This slider is very confusing to play because the repeat lands on a blue tick. May I suggest a different rhythm?

    00:52:443 (1) to 00:56:135 (1)
    This follows the vocals very well and is easy to read.

  6. 01:01:212 (2,3,4) - Hmm, maybe make this flow a little better by rotating the 3 and 4 like this:
    And you can adjust the 3 to make the blanket nicer.

Hitsounds

  1. 00:00:751 (1) - These finishes on the head are so loud! I suggest adding a 20% volume section at the head of the slider, and then a 40% section at the next blue tick. So~
    00:00:751 - 20% volume
    00:00:866 - 40% volume
    This will make the finish not so loud and fit better with the music.

  2. 00:03:981 (3) - This circle feels a little flat without a hitsound on it. Try adding a whistle here, which will give it a nice push into the next slider.

  3. 00:04:443 (1) - I think the finish on the head of this slider is not needed. There is no finish in the music here, and it's quite loud. Please remove it.

  4. 00:06:520 (4) - Whistle on the head sounds very nice and accents the vocal line.

  5. 00:07:674 (5) - I suggest a whistle here for the same reason as 00:03:981 (3). It feels empty without it.

  6. 00:08:135 (1) - Again we should silence this finish a bit.
    00:08:135 - 20% volume
    00:08:251 - 40% volume

  7. 00:11:827 (1) - Please remove the finish from the head because there is no finish in the music here.

  8. 00:12:981 (2) - Whistle

  9. 00:13:904 (4) - Whistle on head to accent vocal rhythm again. This is with the rhythm change suggested above.

  10. 00:13:904 (4) - Clap on the end to be consistent with 00:06:520 (4). This is with the rhythm change suggested above.

  11. 00:15:058 (5) - Whistle to keep consistent and to push into the next section better. This is with the rhythm change suggested above.

  12. 00:15:520 (1) - Maybe silence this finish to 30% or so. It sounds much nicer that way to me.

  13. 00:16:443 (3) - If you are adding a clap on the upbeats in this section, then you should also add a clap on the slider repeat here.

  14. 00:19:212 (1) - Please remove this redundant finish from the head. It's very unsounding here. Add a whistle instead.

  15. 00:22:904 (1) - Reduce the volume of the finish on the head to 20%.

  16. 00:24:751 (3) - We're missing a hitsound here. Maybe a whistle on the head to accent the vocals a bit.

  17. 00:26:597 (1,2,3,4,5) - We should try and make hitsounds consistent throughout this section. I feel that offbeat claps work well. Try this:
    00:27:520 (2) - Remove whistle from end and add clap to end.
    00:28:443 (3) - Clap on repeat

  18. 00:33:520 - The transition to normal sample set here for the kiai time is nice, but the volume is too loud and the hitsounds are very ugly. I suggest 40% volume to start the kiai time and adjust the rest of the volumes from there.

  19. 00:58:904 (5) - Missing clap on end I think.

Map Design / Rhythm
  1. 00:19:212 (1) - Since the vocals are held here, I think it would feel much better if we had a slider. Maybe a rhythm like this:

    00:18:289 (6) to 00:20:366 (3)
    This feels really nice with the vocals.

  2. 00:29:597 (4,5,1,2) - I think a different rhythm would be better here so that we could hit the slider at 00:30:058 and have a new combo there just like the hard diff. Maybe this:

    00:28:443 (3) to 00:32:597 (4)

  3. 00:33:520 (2) - I really dislike this section because the downbeat that starts the chorus at 00:33:981 is on the end of this slider. It feels very bad because that down is not stressed. This is the most powerful and most important part of the song, so here's what I suggest:
    00:32:366 (3) - NC
    00:33:058 (1) - Remove NC
    And maybe this rhythm so we can start the chorus right:


    00:33:058 (3) to 00:35:597 (3)
    NC at 00:33:981 on the downbeat when the chorus starts. It's MUCH more powerful that way.

  4. 00:37:212 (1) - The NC here is very confusing because it's part of the previous verse. The new vocal line starts on the downbeat 00:37:674. I suggest removing this NC and adding a NC at 00:38:135 (2) instead. That makes more sense musically.

  5. 00:39:289 (1) - It would be better if you remove this NC here because this slider is part of the same verse as the previous two sliders.

  6. 00:40:674 (5) - I believe that we could follow the vocals better and have a more flowing rhythm if this were a 1/2 slider like this:

  7. 00:41:366 (7) - The new vocal verse starts here so it would be the perfect place for a NC. Please add a NC here.

  8. 00:48:058 - We should add a circle here because there is a sound in the music and it will make this section feel better because there won't be such a large gap. Like this:

    The 5 could even be a 1/2 slider.

  9. 00:57:981 (1) - It would be better to remove the NC here and add one at 00:59:827 (3) to fit the vocal line and to be consistent with the easy diff.

Hitsounds


  1. 00:00:751 (1) - Maybe silence the finish to 20% just like easy.

  2. 00:04:443 (1) - Remove this finish from here because it's noisy and there is no finish in the music at this point.

Map Design / Rhythm
  1. 00:33:058 (4) - This rhythm is very strange. Can I suggest something that would be very fun here?

    A long slider at 00:33:058 and the triplet at 00:33:520 just like in the music. And then this awesome circle flowing jump into the kiai time.

  2. 00:46:674 - I think we should change the rhythm here to follow the crashes in the music. There's one at 00:45:058 and 00:45:751 and 00:46:674. We hit a slider on all of them except for 00:46:674. Here's what I suggest.
    00:46:674 (5) - Delete this
    00:46:904 (1) - Move the 1 to 00:46:674 so it hits along with the crash.
    00:47:366 - Add a circle here
    This rhythm feels much nicer.

    Just a suggestion:

  3. 01:03:520 - End the kiai time here because this is the new verse and the end of the chorus.

  4. 01:02:597 (1) - Maybe remove the NC here and add one at 01:03:520 (3) because the verse changes at the 3 there and a NC would accent that.

Hitsounds


  1. 00:00:751 (1) - Again reduce volume of finish please.

  2. 00:02:135 (4) - I think that the claps you used in this section are not fitting very well because there are no claps in the music at this point. It's just vocals and piano. I suggest removing the clap from the head here and adding a whistle instead.

  3. 00:02:828 (6) - Again remove clap from repeat and add whistle.

  4. 00:03:520 (7) - Remove clap from end and add whistle.

  5. 00:04:443 (1) - Remove finish from head please. It's so loud. ;_;

  6. 00:07:212 (8) - Remove the clap from the tail and add it to the head. This is consistent with the other diffs.

  7. 00:10:904 (10) - Remove clap from head and add a whistle to the tail for consistency.

  8. 00:11:827 (1) - Remove finish from head. Noisy and no finish in music.

  9. For consistency, remove clap at 00:14:135 (5) and add it to 00:14:597 (8). Sounds better to me.

  10. The volumes in the kiai time are quite noisy. I suggest reducing them by 10% or so.

  11. 00:35:827 (1) - Please remove the finish on the head here. It's very redundant and sounds bad. And you didn't do this in the other difficulties.

  12. 00:37:674 (1) - Remove whistle from head and add finish. More consistent and sounds better.

  13. 00:38:135 (2) - Missing clap I think

  14. 00:38:366 (3) - The whistle on the repeat is super noisy to me. Can you remove it or reduce it's volume?

  15. 00:39:981 (2) - Clap

  16. 00:43:212 (1) - Please remove finish from head.

  17. 00:45:058 (1) - Remove whistle from head and add finish.

  18. 00:48:751 (1) - Finish on head instead of whistle please.

  26. 01:09:657 (2,3) - These are currently set to drum sample set. On purpose? It sounds very off. Change to auto please.

  2. 00:03:981 (3) - This circle feels a little flat without a hitsound on it. Try adding a whistle here, which will give it a nice push into the next slider.

  3. 00:04:443 (1) - I think the finish on the head of this slider is not needed. There is no finish in the music here, and it's quite loud. Please remove it.

  4. 00:06:520 (4) - Whistle on the head sounds very nice and accents the vocal line.

  5. 00:07:674 (5) - I suggest a whistle here for the same reason as 00:03:981 (3). It feels empty without it.

  6. 00:08:135 (1) - Again we should silence this finish a bit.

  2. 00:29:597 (4,5,1,2) - I think a different rhythm would be better here so that we could hit the slider at 00:30:058 and have a new combo there just like the hard diff. Maybe this:

  3. 00:33:520 (2) - I really dislike this section because the downbeat that starts the chorus at 00:33:981 is on the end of this slider. It feels very bad because that down is not stressed. This is the most powerful and most important part of the song, so here's what I suggest:
    00:32:366 (3) - NC
    00:33:058 (1) - Remove NC
    And maybe this rhythm so we can start the chorus right:


    00:33:058 (3) to 00:35:597 (3)
    NC at 00:33:981 on the downbeat when the chorus starts. It's MUCH more powerful that way.

  4. 00:37:212 (1) - The NC here is very confusing because it's part of the previous verse. The new vocal line starts on the downbeat 00:37:674. I suggest removing this NC and adding a NC at 00:38:135 (2) instead. That makes more sense musically.

  5. 00:39:289 (1) - It would be better if you remove this NC here because this slider is part of the same verse as the previous two sliders.

  6. 00:40:674 (5) - I believe that we could follow the vocals better and have a more flowing rhythm if this were a 1/2 slider like this:

  7. 00:41:366 (7) - The new vocal verse starts here so it would be the perfect place for a NC. Please add a NC here.

  8. 00:48:058 - We should add a circle here because there is a sound in the music and it will make this section feel better because there won't be such a large gap. Like this:

  9. 00:57:981 (1) - It would be better to remove the NC here and add one at 00:59:827 (3) to fit the vocal line and to be consistent with the easy diff.

  2. 00:46:674 - I think we should change the rhythm here to follow the crashes in the music. There's one at 00:45:058 and 00:45:751 and 00:46:674. We hit a slider on all of them except for 00:46:674. Here's what I suggest.
    00:46:674 (5) - Delete this
    00:46:904 (1) - Move the 1 to 00:46:674 so it hits along with the crash.
    00:47:366 - Add a circle here
    This rhythm feels much nicer.

    Just a suggestion:

  3. 01:03:520 - End the kiai time here because this is the new verse and the end of the chorus.

  4. 01:02:597 (1) - Maybe remove the NC here and add one at 01:03:520 (3) because the verse changes at the 3 there and a NC would accent that.

  4. 00:03:520 (7) - Remove clap from end and add whistle.

  5. 00:04:443 (1) - Remove finish from head please. It's so loud. ;_;

Hey there from #modreqs! This is a pretty nice map and I can't point out too many errors.

[Storyboard]
The only thing that really bugs me is the instant transition between some of the pictures.. I suggest using some sort of quick fade out/fade in to transition them possibly. 00:15:520 - 00:19:212 - 00:22:904 etc... also it seems like you are trying to follow the beat with fade outs/ins just before 00:22:904 you can notice an odd picture behind it.. may I suggest removing the picture behind it when you do this?

Also, some of the stuff on widescreen(16:9) mode lets me see outside of your pictures, such as when you rotate the ones at 00:33:981 (I don't know how to fix this since i'm not very good with storyboarding, or if you even need to fix this)

00:11:366 | Not sure if this is intentional but when you do the fade out. It is really noticeable that you increase the size on the back picture before you start reducing the size. You might just want to leave the picture at the normal size, or make the pictures before bigger before you start decreasing it.

There's nothing else really I can point out about the storyboard. I really like it.

  2. 00:04:443 (1) - A soft- whistle at the start and end of this slider would be sound nice here. It helps emphasize with the piano chords.
  3. 00:05:597 (2) - Since there is no prominent emphasis of piano chords anywhere, I think you should remove the soft-whislte here.
