Specific advice for my skill level?

I feel like I'm getting stuck when I'm crossing from high 4* to 5*. I can only pass easy 5*s. I know I need to play more to improve, but I want to start making my plays more effective than just playing the same multiple maps over and over. Is there anything specific I should practice on, or any techniques I should experiment with to improve my skill?

From your recent plays, it doesn't seem like you are in the process of crossing from high 4* to 5*. You got an A in C18H27NO3 (which is rated as 5.15*, but should be rated as a high 3*), so assuming your skill is balanced, there should be several 3* maps you wouldn't currently be able to get an S on.

Limiting yourself to ranked beatmaps (specially ranked beatmaps that are overrated in terms of star rating) wouldn't give you enough practice to play many patterns that are possible within the game mode. It's more efficient to play a wide variety of beatmaps, and then focus on what you are currently the worst at by finding even more beatmaps with those patterns.

Hold off on the 5stars and probably even high 4stars. slow and steady wins the race and you'll get there sooner if you practice things you can actually play ^^

most of the 5 stars on your top plays are overrated. i'd say play low-med 4 star maps that arent too overrated to practice.
