About 3 years ago I had to prepare for my college entrance exam, and thus was forbidden by my parents to play games ;_;

  1. There’s an inconsistency on the video file among the difficulties. The video works on Irie’s Normal and popner’s Insane while the other difficulties there’re no video. You should check the .osu of all diffs on the [Events] and add this line Video,0,"video.avi" under the background line.
  2. Are you sure about the countdown being enabled? Usually we don’t see this option anymore among ranked maps, but since it’s an older map, I don’t really see it as a problem. But if you’re going to use it, how about a custom countdown sound?

[Easy]
  1. This rhythm here felt really random, even tho it plays fine and okay; 00:00:150 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5) - . This first intro could be separated into two parts. The first one starts here 00:00:150 - ~ 00:05:483 – and the second one starts here 00:05:483 - ~ 00:10:816 - . They’re very similar and I don’t a reason for them to be mapped in such a different way.
    In the first phrase you started with a big slider 00:00:150 (1) – following vocal line, which you also did here 00:05:483 (7) - . But as the pattern progresses 00:01:483 (2,3,4) – vs. 00:06:816 (1,2,3) - . I recommend mapping both like you did here 00:06:816 (1,2,3) – with two 1/1 sliders ending with a circle on the next big white tick. About this part as well, this should be the new combo 00:05:483 (1) - . By doing that you will have both parts having 1-6 combo like this 00:00:150 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - .
  2. This spinner here is ending on such an important beat of the chorus 00:55:983 (1) – and that is making all the transition from the regular verse to the chorus really weak and odd. I really recommend you think about mapping this section 00:58:649 - ~ 00:59:816 - .
  3. This one is quite similar to the previous point; 00:21:483 (1,2) - and 00:26:816 (1,2,1) - . They’re very close and similar parts of the song, yet mapped very differently. It’s not something negative or wrong, but for an easy difficulty, you probably want to keep it more consistent for new players.
  4. This slider end is on the blue tick; 01:24:149 (4) – right here 01:24:899 – instead of the white tick here 01:24:816 - . Since it’s an easy diff I really recommend ending it on the white/red ticks.
  5. This spinner here 01:26:816 (1) – seems too short for this difficulty.
[Irie’s Normal]
  1. Blanket improvement here 01:17:483 (1,2,3) – could be a positive thing.

  2. This section here should be mapped with both sliders being 3/4. 00:30:649 (1,2,3) – if you want to give the vocal lines the proper emphasis imo. Some would say that if you do that you can’t really space 00:30:983 (2,3) - , but I think that even if they’re not spaced, ending both sliders on the blue ticks would be more consistent and map better the vocal line.
  3. Are you sure about not mapping this strong beat here 01:20:149 - ? It feels too strong to be ignored as it is now.

P.S. Updating the .osu files in several KB is even slower than pushing a full project with 4MB to github.

Overall I really think you can make a better rhythm on the insane diff, like a lot of stuff is really not up to standards, can you consider re-working the diff? -00:00:150 (1,2,3,4,5) - and 00:02:816 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - and 00:05:483 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - are inconsistent and what you're following is not very clear, make sure to check this 00:06:816 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - . The same thing happens on 00:41:483 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,1,2,3) -
    -Another section that should have a re-work in the rhythm aspect 00:14:650 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - with the how to handle the sound on 00:15:149 -
    -00:29:149 (5,1,2,3,1) - This also maps the same sound with very distinct ideas
    -01:08:816 (4,5,1,2,3,4) - The reverse here kills the transition and doesn't work with the songs rhythm, just check popner diff
    -01:22:149 (4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - Really inconsistent rhythm as well
    So yeah, if you re-work the insane I'm willing to move the set foward. If you need assistance in that let me know.

Yeh I understand your meaning; when Kencho told me to increase the difficulty of insane diff I made some changes referencing cRyo's diff in Fycho's map iirc, but it seems I didn't reverse the changes. I'll look into what you mentioned, but it may take some time, sorry!
