BackgroundThe theme of "Thoughtcrime" is a plagiarism from George Orwell's novel "1984". At the moment when I proclaimed that it is plagiarism, plagiarism turned into a homage. The line between plagiarism and homage seems to be vague but, actually, it doesn't exist anywhere. Vice versa. All homages have the potential to become a plagiarism.
The poem of this song is a homage to Housai Ozaki's haiku and his later years.
I believe that someone can also say it is a plagiarism.

LyricsWhy would this spirit be ever understood by you, who is being tender for other people?
Cursing people is comfortable for me, that's why I was writing songs
It was my dream to be mentioned one day on the morning news report
And for this reason, I sharpen my knife
Sound of hitting the glass, tearing some sort of paper
The setting sun after a farewell was beautiful
Even you can understand this!
Madder of a crow's song
Even this solitude now turns into a sound
Twilight felt by my face
I'm standing on tiptoes, clouds glow red
"Goodbye" slipped from my tongue
-
