Taiko comboburst samples don't reset when you miss.

(e.g. if you get "50 combo!", then miss, then work back up to 50x, the voice will say "100 combo!").

They're not supposed to, afaik. They only reset if you have it set in skin.ini.
Open up taiko's skin.ini and add the following line under [General]
CustomComboBurstSounds: 50,100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800

Aha, thanks.
Because the sounds already seemed to be coming in on the right numbers as long as I didn't miss, I assumed that the skin (skin.ini) wasn't at fault, but I was obviously wrong :P

The taiko skin will be updated next release. I didn't want to make everyone redownload the skin just for a one-line ini change so put this off.
