So i've been playing and practicing osu mania for like three years now and i'm not improving anymore. There are people who play this game for one year and can fc 7 star maps and i played for 3 whole years and i can't make it to the end of the 5 star. Take this map for example:https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1069426#mania/2238671

and tell me, JUST TELL ME PLS HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HIT THOSE FAST STREAMS???!! My fingers just cant go this fast. Do i have like muscle mass decrease disability or do people struggle with those like i do? Do normal players have trouble with those or is this game just not good for me? I have never played a mania game (beatmania, iidvx etc) in my entire life before. I only started three years ago on osu mania. And now im forever stuck on the 4 star difficulty and im losing hope. What in the hell do i do to get better? Should i like lift weights or something or should i just give up? Should i play an instrument like a piano or something like that? Thank you.

I've been playing for 6 years and the best I can do is 92%, which is shit. For 3 years, you are not doing bad. It took me a while to progress beyond 4.8 stars, and now stuck at around 5.4 stars.

As for technique, what I do:
  1. Elbows match height of table surface
  2. Wrist float, not rest
  3. Tap like a snapping shrimp. Just minimize contact with keys as much as possible.
  4. Make collections of maps sorted by what acc you want to beat on maps
  5. Play more unranked/loved maps if you are not playing them

practice the patterns you're bad that by playing slower or easier versions of them, I dont recommend rankeds if you want to improve really, looking for maps with more raw patterns will be better

dont play the same pool of maps constantly, you wont see improvement in a day from playing the same maps and will only let you down

mostly tho, if you want to push your physical limits you'll have to play things out your comfort zone, but not too far to the point you cant play it at all, when pushing dont aim for anything lower than an A, anything below 90% is no good, and even slightly above 90% is still a red zone, the closest to S the better

for improving pattern recognition, especially in tech then you'll have to play a lot of technical maps to learn new patterns

and for improving your acc, go to maps you're comfortable with and aim for better accuracy, using HR if you want

or play etterna

You see, something very important that is missed out by a lot of people is motivation and enjoyment. If you simply just so online and play for like an hour and hope that you can improve a bit or not lose your skill, it's not gonna work out. Just like how I spend 45min every session to play 7k and that didn't work out at all. Enjoy the game play it for fun and have quality sessions, that will significantly improve your skills

you see thats because being motivated and enjoying the game is already expected, if you feel unwell playing at all then why are you playing

knowing how to train properly instead of aimlessly playing will do better for both your mood and improvement, if thats what you look for, one can also play casually and thats fine, but this is clearly not what was asked

so im sorry but saying enjoy the game and have quality sessions doesnt explain anything at all

also try not revolve your improvement around gaining ranks, if you start 7k just because you want pp and not because you like the mode, chances are you have high expectatives and want fast improvement, once you understand that improving takes time and effort, you will enjoy yourself more than blindly expecting improvement out of nowhere
