(osu!mania) Repeat Key Tapping Speed

Rarely there are notes on the same lane consecutively which you should tap repeatedly on one key as fast as you can. I tried tapping on one key with my two alternating fingers.The tapping speed for me is approximately 8 taps per second, which I couldn't do it.

Anyone which has beyond this speed is considered a "machine".

8 taps in one second equals 120bpm singletap in standard. There are people who can do faster. For short bursts it's not even uncommon to be able to go faster for almost anyone who've been playing for a while.

We call these "Jackhammers" in the stepmania/DDR community. They are usually frowned apon if used in 4+ succession simply because the pattern is too difficult for most players to do without doublekeying (Setting up two keys for each note, usually on top of one another). I remember seriously straining my hands a few years ago trying to play these.

i know several people who can singletap for several seconds above 200 bpm 1/4ths
