[Archived] Osu settings reset and collections dissapeared?

Problem details:

I opened osu today to see that i was logged out of my account, all my settings were reset to default along with my skin. All of the my collections were also gone. This has happened twice now and i have no idea why.


osu! version: Stable 20200320 (latest)

You mean your skin was set to default, or the skin files were removed?

What about your beatmaps?

i still have all the skins and beatmaps. i just wanted to why my collections kept being deleted along with my setting being reset.

They shouldn't be unless something is messing with your files. If it happens often, some people have had luck with deleting their osu!.pcname.cfg file manually, and letting it regenerate. But that shouldn't effect collections, that is it's own file.
