SPOILER
15:00 ampzz: After a test play here.
15:00 *ampzz is listening to [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/189861 kors k - smooooch]
15:00 JappyBabes: yeah i'll throw an xmas hat or something on mine later
15:00 ampzz: Anything you find, just post here
15:01 JappyBabes: logs are too hard
15:01 ampzz: Eh?
15:01 ampzz: /savelog
15:01 ampzz: done.
15:01 ampzz: Saves new one.
15:01 JappyBabes: i have it autod
15:01 JappyBabes: but rly
15:02 JappyBabes: can you even kd for one diff
15:02 JappyBabes: only
15:02 ampzz: Yes.
15:02 ampzz: If it's stuff that helps the map over all out it's worth it.
15:03 ampzz: Where the heck did the early breaks go?!
15:03 JappyBabes: no idea
15:04 JappyBabes: do you care about
15:04 JappyBabes: unreadable stacks only when
15:04 JappyBabes: hd
15:05 ampzz: Usually, yes, but I have my settings so things are readable regardless of opaque skin.
15:05 ampzz: Those end triples might go.
15:06 JappyBabes: unstable 118
15:06 JappyBabes: what.
15:06 ampzz: Actually sounds more 1/2
15:06 ampzz: unstable 118?
15:06 JappyBabes: is there a way
15:06 ampzz: For FPS?
15:06 JappyBabes: no
15:06 JappyBabes: when you finish watching/playing a full replay
15:06 ampzz: Ah.
15:06 JappyBabes: it shows how unstable your acc is
15:06 JappyBabes: so low for not much play
15:06 JappyBabes: anyway can i dim
15:06 JappyBabes: bg in edit
15:06 JappyBabes: this bright pink fuck
15:06 ampzz: Just remove it.
15:07 JappyBabes: 00:21:537 (1,2,1) - this felt like a trade-off
15:07 JappyBabes: the 2 has good positioning but was hard to tell when i should let go of 1
15:08 JappyBabes: might have just been hd
15:09 JappyBabes: 00:35:097 (6,7) - seems a bit squished compared to last notes in combo
15:10 JappyBabes: 00:38:487 (8) - would prefer if this was straight like 6
15:11 JappyBabes: 00:39:165 (1,3) - can't tell if these are the same slider (same angle)
15:11 JappyBabes: but if they aren't maybe they should be
15:12 JappyBabes: and nowhere else up until here have you had them overlap like that
15:12 JappyBabes: sliders, that is
15:13 ampzz: Screwed myself over for placement resulting in a corner trap. :x
15:13 JappyBabes: 00:44:588 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - you usually use shapes so these lines are kinda dull
15:14 JappyBabes: and the 1,2 / 4,5 overlap which i think i only saw on those 1/4s at the beginning
15:15 ampzz: Ah, the reason for more linear mappign on this was to show a change in what the rhythm I would be following goes to.
15:15 JappyBabes: dw most of this is
15:15 JappyBabes: trying really hard to find things which could be done better
15:15 JappyBabes: 00:48:317 (4) - not sure if i've seen you use the bent sliders with 1/4 inbetween earlier in the song
15:15 JappyBabes: they were curved unless this is to do
15:16 JappyBabes: with the change of song as you just said
15:16 ampzz: Yeah.
15:16 ampzz: More angle sliders used here than anywhere else.
15:16 JappyBabes: hey look i can pick up on things \:D/
15:16 JappyBabes: 00:51:537 (2,3,4) - this felt extremely odd to play
15:17 JappyBabes: like it fits the music
15:17 JappyBabes: just didn't play well imo
15:17 ampzz: Would you want a reduction in ds?
15:18 JappyBabes: is the SV changed
15:18 JappyBabes: there
15:18 JappyBabes: like
15:19 JappyBabes: it seems like the slider finishes earlier than the next
15:19 JappyBabes: unlike other typical maps where you just hold z > x
15:19 JappyBabes: or w/e
15:21 ampzz: Which?
15:21 ampzz: Oh, that, no.
15:21 ampzz: I usually avoid SV changes.
15:24 JappyBabes: 00:54:080 (1) - personal dislike of sliders used like this were they're in a row facing outwards, could fit a hexagon w/ 1/2 sliders like val did at the end of six trillion but this isn't needed at all
15:25 JappyBabes: 01:04:249 (1) - really compressed stream but i'm just going to go ahead and guess that's because of the instrument being diff
15:25 JappyBabes: and the sliders that come after that.
15:25 JappyBabes: ehhh doesn't look good when they overlap oddly at least to me
15:27 JappyBabes: 01:16:792 (3,4,5,6) - could be more wave shaped like 01:19:165 (9,10,11,12) - but it is the beginning/build up to the ending so it works
15:30 JappyBabes: 01:47:470 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - both approaching from the same side kinda odd seeing as you had 00:59:504 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
15:31 ampzz: Thinking of removing the triples
15:31 JappyBabes: and yeah maybe you're right with removing the triples all together
15:31 ampzz: just go for 1/2 mapping here.
15:31 JappyBabes: could do a 1/2
15:31 JappyBabes: wow
15:31 JappyBabes: reading my mind
15:31 JappyBabes: large 1/2 with kinda large spacing?
15:31 JappyBabes: using same words OP
15:32 ampzz: 01:48:995 (4,5) - Did these play find?
15:32 ampzz: FIND
15:32 ampzz: Fine*
15:32 JappyBabes: yeah they felt fine
15:32 JappyBabes: but if you're going with the 10 1/2s in a row route or w/e
15:32 JappyBabes: they'll probably be in different locations
15:32 ampzz: Mhmm
15:33 JappyBabes: this ending half minute or so after the break
15:33 JappyBabes: uses a lot of straight sliders
15:33 JappyBabes: it seems like
15:35 ampzz: Not a fan?
15:35 JappyBabes: 01:37:470 (1) - these just look weird even though i can see what you were going for
15:35 JappyBabes: w/ the 2,3,4
15:36 JappyBabes: just trying to think of
15:36 JappyBabes: if where the 1 and 3 were
15:36 JappyBabes: sliders isntead
15:36 ampzz: OH
15:36 ampzz: MY
15:36 ampzz: GOD
15:36 JappyBabes: what
15:37 ampzz: That sentence made 0 sense.
15:37 ampzz: Ahahaha
15:37 JappyBabes: what
15:37 ampzz: Oh, wrong convo.
15:37 ampzz: Grea.t
15:37 ampzz: Thanks osu!
15:37 JappyBabes: i was so confused ):
15:38 JappyBabes: 01:33:741 (2,3,4) - felt a tad condensed
15:39 JappyBabes: 01:41:029 (2,3,4) - this looks to be the lone stacked triplet in the entire map
15:39 ampzz: Yeah, nothing really worked out decently except that.
15:40 ampzz: Tried a repeat slider instad, felt shit.
15:40 JappyBabes: would a
15:41 JappyBabes: triple going up
15:41 JappyBabes: followed by
15:41 JappyBabes: where the 9 is, flipped
15:41 JappyBabes: for the 6
15:41 JappyBabes: 8 flipped for 7
15:41 JappyBabes: 6 flipped for 9
15:41 JappyBabes: and 10 flipped for 10
15:41 JappyBabes: vertical of
15:41 JappyBabes: c
15:42 JappyBabes: oh wait
15:42 JappyBabes: there's a note after the triple gg
15:42 ampzz: Yeah, hence being lazy.
15:43 ampzz: You get that one stop to readjust your grip slightly before next section.
15:44 ampzz: Well, that's a lie...
15:44 ampzz: I was just being slack.
15:45 JappyBabes: yeah could tell
15:45 JappyBabes: trying to work something out
15:46 JappyBabes: having trouble but
15:47 JappyBabes: something where the triplet moves up in some direction and the note after is put somewhere where cool cursor movement can start to happen, where it just loops off from one slider end to the next slider start
15:47 ampzz: Oh, and please remember that I mapped this back in late 2012.
15:47 JappyBabes: also is 'somewhere where' right
15:47 JappyBabes: there should be better vocab for that
15:47 ampzz: No.
15:47 JappyBabes: i knew it
15:47 ampzz: 'where' is redundant.
15:48 ampzz: somwhere so that there is a place for
15:48 ampzz: if I could spell that would be cool too.
15:50 ampzz: If I were to map this with my current skills the map would be ridiculously different.
15:50 JappyBabes: 01:44:249 (1,2,3) - kinda dull, easy to fuck up here too w/ aim on middle note ;<
15:50 JappyBabes: 01:43:232 (3,4,5,6) - would prefer if this was all mapped on the same angle tilt
15:51 JappyBabes: 01:35:436 (4,5) - 01:36:114 (1) - ehhhhhhh
15:53 JappyBabes: idk why i didn't say this before but this 01:02:215 (1,2,3,4,5) - kinda awkard to play but mightj ust be me
15:53 JappyBabes: 01:25:775 (3,1,2,3,4) - same w/ this
15:54 JappyBabes: kind of like that star you did earlier w/out mapping it like a star
15:55 JappyBabes: https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/p/2386823/ FUCKING LOL.
15:55 JappyBabes: woooow
15:55 JappyBabes: ranked > nuked
15:55 JappyBabes: bl laurier
15:55 ampzz: LOL
15:56 ampzz: Soon osu! will basically be gone as everything breached copyright.
15:57 JappyBabes: anyways
15:57 JappyBabes: that's pretty much it
15:57 ampzz: Cool

[Beginner]

* Overall, lots of "steep" curves on sliders where they could be flat and look nicer.
Example :
SPOILER

Slider 1 is curved steeper than Slider 3, but it seems like Slider 1 was only curved like that so that Slider 3 would stay the way it is. This is indicative of "fragmented" mapping, in which one tries to consolidate past mods accepted by making these types of sliders so that things "fit" in.

* No repeated "patterns" or "templates" seemed present, making the map less like a song (not following the Verse-Chorus Form).

[Normal]

* My only concern on this difficulty is that 00:45:944 (5,6) and 00:51:368 (4,5) might be hard to play due to the weird timing. This won't be a problem for people who play osu! regularly, but for someone who is starting out recently would find this timing weird and will regularly miss these.

[Hypernize]

Nothing!

[Another]

* 01:01:707 (4) - only issue i have with this - a point where you can be creative and choose not to do it, why not?!
* 01:27:300 (3) - Remove this clap, there's nothing on this point to warrant a clap, the other claps stay as it matches the vocals.
* 01:40:351 (6) - Endslider clap(?)
* 01:41:876 (7) - Clap(?)
* 01:42:385 (9) - Endslider clap(?)

  4. 01:49:673 - there is a big sound. so add note + finish and spinner move to 01:49:843 - ? - I sort of prefer having that note kick off the spinner as (to me) a spinner is a note in itself.

  1. 00:03:571 (9,10) - Change this to k k? This will go with the higher pitch thats here.

  4. 00:12:385 (39) - K? This should be a finish XD
  5. 00:18:656 (65) - k? Just a personal preference.
  6. 00:33:741 (48) - K? This should be a finish as well.
  7. 00:34:249 - Add a d here? Leaving a pause of 3/2 is pretty awkward.
  8. 00:45:097 (97) - k
  9. 00:56:792 - 00:57:809 - Try doing something like this. http://puu.sh/3rRBA.jpg
  10. 01:02:215 - 01:03:232 - Same here. http://puu.sh/3rUiB.jpg

  1. 00:13:487 (57) - Remove this? It's un-needed since you're starting out the song and there's nothing really here.
  2. 00:16:368 (75) - ^
  3. 00:19:758 (94,95) - Change this into a dkd starting on 00:19:673 and ending at 00:19:673.
  4. 00:35:097 (200) - Change to a d? This would fit better since the pitch gets lower.
  5. 00:37:809 (220) - ^
  6. 01:44:927 (210) - Remove this? Nothing really here.
  7. 01:45:436 (213) - K? This ephisizes the finish here.

  1. 00:03:571 (9,10) - Change this to k k? This will go with the higher pitch thats here. Okay.
  2. 00:06:283 (19,20) - ^ Nah.
  3. 00:08:995 (29,30) - ^ Nah.
  4. 00:12:385 (39) - K? This should be a finish XD Possible, but also not needed.
  5. 00:18:656 (65) - k? Just a personal preference. Sure.
  6. 00:33:741 (48) - K? This should be a finish as well. Sure.
  7. 00:34:249 - Add a d here? Leaving a pause of 3/2 is pretty awkward. Yeah, I guess that works.
  8. 00:45:097 (97) - k Sure.
  9. 00:56:792 - 00:57:809 - Try doing something like this. http://puu.sh/3rRBA.jpg Nah, just doesn't feel right for me.
  10. 01:02:215 - 01:03:232 - Same here. http://puu.sh/3rUiB.jpg
Same reason as above.

  1. 00:13:487 (57) - Remove this? It's un-needed since you're starting out the song and there's nothing really here. Okay.
  2. 00:16:368 (75) - ^ Okay.
  3. 00:19:758 (94,95) - Change this into a dkd starting on 00:19:673 and ending at 00:19:673. Nah, in my opinion it doesn't feel that well as it is right now. But that might be because of my playstyle, still.
  4. 00:35:097 (200) - Change to a d? This would fit better since the pitch gets lower. Makes sense, so sure.
  5. 00:37:809 (220) - ^ Okay.
  6. 01:44:927 (210) - Remove this? Nothing really here. Okay.
  7. 01:45:436 (213) - K? This ephisizes the finish here. Nah. It's true that it fits but for my own personal feelings, I think I want to let it stay as it is right now.

{ } - Suggestions in these brackets are related

[ Kinomi's Muzukashii]

00:16:114 (53,54,55) - Mh. Questionable to use the kats here after you had so many dons. I would rather suggest to have ddkkd
00:17:131 (58) - If you should have changed the previous suggestion, you could change this note to kat. It would emphasize the the vocal a bit.
00:17:809~00:19:843 - I strongy recommend to use here the same patterns as before. These are the two last stanzas, so having there a pattern change would not fit to the overall picture of stanza 1 to14. 10 Stanzas have the same beat while the last two have not. Unlineal change.
{
00:25:605~00:29:673 - Mh, kat constalation has a bit suffered by the beat-following mapping style. It dosen't sound very nice and dosen't have a nice gameplay feeling as well, in my opinion. To prevent this, I suggest you to have at
00:25:944 (15) - k
00:26:283 (16,17,18,19) - ddkk
00:27:131 (20,21,22,23,24) - a pattern change, since kats dosen't fit well enough here. I will show you what I got from 00:27:131 to 00:30:351 :

Yes, the first longer pattern isn't lineal, but on a BPM 177 it is still okay and fits better to the music. The patterns k d k and d k d would fit well together and act as "mirror-effect", while note (33) would fit to the song and gameplay pretty well. One more thing about the d k d pattern: You would have in this way a connection to previous pattern 00:23:232 (4,5,6) - .
}
00:37:809 (64,65,66,67,68,69,70) - This one is fine. Song has really high pitches so it fits well.
{
00:41:876 (83,85,87) - finishers would be actually nice. Would fit well to 00:44:588 (95) -
00:42:893 (87) - Moving this to 00:43:063 would be probably good. Reason is hearable.
00:43:232 (88) - deleting
00:43:741 - adding a kat
00:43:402~00:44:249 - You should have a ddd k k d d pattern now. Changing this to kkk d d k k might be better for a finer alternate of notes.
} I think this constalation might fit better. Just a suggestion.
01:18:656 (224) - How about a kat here? In this way you notice the lower sound of 01:18:995 (225) - better.
01:20:182 (230,231,232,233) - d kk d ? Emphasizes 01:21:368 (234,235,236,237) - kats better and makes a connection to the previous kats.
01:22:046 - Recommending to use a kat here. Feels clipped.

Map is okay, but I expected a little bit more. Mapping-wise it is justifiable but the flow and interaction of patterns has kinda suffered.
Maybe it has been tried to make the Muzukashii as easy as possible by having less notes(e.g. 1/2 tripletts). Due to this, some parts feel sometimes clipped. Might be the reason why -in my opinion- some kats are miss-placed.
That's just my own opinion about this situation, so don't have to take it to serious.

Hint: Sometimes having longer patterns(e.g. 8-plets mapped as 1/2) can help you having a better consistency between notes. It gives you also the possibility to emphasize gaps in this way more or prevent in general too many gaps between notes.
Also, having alternaiting patterns can give the player a better play-feeling, or make the patterns it-self more interesting.

[ Kinomi's Oni]

You might want to consider deleting the 1/6. Not a problem, but somehow it has not a great effect at all. Due to the song, they feel a bit random and sometimes on certain parts where you normal should have used them as well, you didn't.

00:05:436 - adding a kat here would save the consistency of the kkdkk patterns.
00:09:334 (38,39,40,41,42,43,44) - Any reason for changing the pattern? This has been only used on Stanza 6. (thought I have no problem with it at all)
00:50:012~01:05:944 - I recommend you to have some breaks here.
00:31:029 (173) - A finisher hasn't been used here, so having some of them afterwards sounds strange, since you can feel and hear that the first finisher is missing. That's why I'm suggesting to delete this part from 00:30:690 to 00:33:232 and refere more to the finisher. They emphasize this part way better.
01:16:453 (497,498) - Not best suggestion, but make these to finisher and remove finisher at 01:17:131 (1) - ? After all, I think finisher shouldn't be used that often at the beginning of a stanza. As the name say, "finisher". But just my own opinion.
01:22:386 (40) - delete this note?
01:17:131~01:27:978 - I really think this part can be mapped better. From 01:17:131 to 01:22:215 you have more notes as at the coming part, so you are reducing instead of accelerating it, as the song normaly does. The climax is coming but the notes effect are allready lowered due to the previous emphasizes part. Excitement of player goes down.
I suggest you to use less notes. More 1/2 instead of 1/4 and 1/6. The near you come to the "pretence-kiai"(01:27:978) the more 1/2 and maybe 1/4 you should use.
01:33:232 - Considering the whole map, here should be normaly a 1/6, else there is inconsistency to the 1/6 patterns in the whole map. So it feels more random. You could also try just deleting the not 01:33:232 (118) - and having a gap, but then you would need to do the same with some other patterns. Well, the choice is yours. Just consider it in your next map.
01:36:114~01:37:300 - Somehow I miss the finishers. But that's fine.

As I said, 1/6 are in my opinion problematic here. They emphasize some parts too much where they normaly shouldn't do it, e.g. before the "pretence-kiai" start. Also their connection between them is not that well, which is due to the song. But sometimes they are missing in the map, so they appear in irregular intervals which make some pattern suffer.
Another problem is the less usage of breaks between certain stanzas. In Muzukashii you had many while in Oni you just mapped through many sections in some cases. Flow is in this way given, but as side effect of this, other parts are becoming less noticeable.

Well, that's it for now. Having about two/three more mods wouldn't hurt I guess.
Good luck.

[General]
 UNRANKABLE ISSUE? I remember there was a rule about the uploader being required to contribute the largest number of difficulties, but I cannot find it any more. Consult BATs for confirmation and make an additional difficulty if the rule is still in effect. If it is lifted then everything is fine.

EDIT: It's in the guidelines:

General Ranking Criteria wrote:

The number of maps by any mapper should not exceed the number of maps by the uploader: this means that if you have 2 diffs, no guest mapper can have more than 2 diffs; collaboration maps are exempt from this. Ask a BAT if you're unsure of who should upload the mapset.
Still confirm with BATs whether this mapset can be exempted from this guideline and act accordingly.

[Beginner]
 Symmetry across similar parts will be appreciated, but nothing too unacceptable so far.
01:15:775 (1) - Either reduce one iteration, condense to two circles at 01:15:775, 01:16:453 or whatever, just give 01:17:131 to the pink (1)
01:27:300 (1) - Finish here, because I would have put a large note here on all diffs has it been Taiko.

[Normal]
00:14:758 (1,2,3) - Just not straight enough by a slight degree.
00:24:927 (5) - Too close to (4). This also applies to many instances of 1/2 time spacing throughout.
00:27:300 (6) - Start at 00:27:131 instead. Then either lengthen end to 00:27:639 or add a circle there.
00:28:656 - Circle to complete the music.
00:30:351 (5) - Possibly a tad too demanding for consecutively 1/2 spaced objects. Could end 00:30:690.
00:32:385 (3,4,5,6) - Not a perfect rhombus just yet.
01:05:944 (1) - Not a new combo please, or convince otherwise.
01:17:131 (1) - Invert so that (1)~(3) are like spurting from the centre. Also relocate 01:15:775 (1,2).

[Taiko] Perceived difficulty rating: 5* Muzukashii 8* Oni
 Go-go time also possible at 00:22:893~00:44:588 and 01:27:978~01:38:826
<Muzukashii> Lack of focus and a basic amount of consistency in non-chorus

[Another / Hypernize]
No comment. Enjoy yourselves.

Oh wait one question perhaps: Is Hypernize a word anyway?

Oh wait one more suggestion:
<Hypernize> 01:49:673 (5,1) - Either remove the spinner or cover spinner across the circle

The rhythm varies a bit from a following-the-song rhythm with 1/2s and a simplicity-rhythm following 1/1s. personally I would go for the 1/2s rhythm, I pointed out some suggestions below:

00:17:470 (1,2) - Reduce slider velocity speed on these two sliders? because this intro is a bit calmer than the rest of the song.
00:29:334 (2,3) - start these both 1/2 later to match the rhythm of the song?
00:32:385 (3) - make this slider perfectly symmetrial
00:33:741 (1,2,1) - pen0r pattern, lol, sorry cant unsee
00:39:165 (1,2,3) - end (1) 1/2 earlier, place (2) 1/2 earlier and start (3) 1/2 earlier.
01:00:860 (1,2,3) - make slider 1 and 3 perfectly symmetrial and place the note between them in a perfect line.
00:49:334 (3,2) - this overlap looks messy
01:18:657 (2,3,1) - spacing: make this line go straight, following the slider's track?
01:29:843 (3) - start this 1/2 later?
01:34:419 (2,3) - start both 1/2 later?
01:38:826 (1,2,3) - end (1) 1/2 earlier, place (2) 1/2 earlier and start (3) 1/2 earlier. (like 01:44:249 (1,2,3) - )

Hi ampzz o/
I told you I was to mod this earlier, but at the end I didn't arrive home at time, sorry >.<

Here I go

[Beginner]
I'd suggest to remove the first two breaks, the drain is a bit low and the arrows would be a bit stressing for beginners. Also you could decrease HP by 1 to create an even spread for this setting in the mapset.
*nazi* 00:22:893 (1) and 00:25:605 (1) don't have perfect symmetry.
00:29:843 (3) - Shorten this by 1/2 beat, matches better the music, actually sounds a bit weird.
00:32:385 (3) - How about making this a 1/1 slider with 1 repeat, it'd add more emphasis to these strong beats imo, or a circle + 1/1 slider.
00:44:588 (1) - *nazi* You can achieve a better blanket moving the middle node around x:52 y:176 and the last one to x:152 y:108
00:52:724 (1,2) - This blanketing looks quite sloppy, try this code, you may need to adjust a bit the spacing for 00:52:385 (4).
219,293,52724,6,2,P|291:211|214:133,1,240,8|12,0:0|0:0,0:0:0:0:
210,212,54080,2,2,P|134:135|206:53,1,240,8|4,0:0|0:2,0:0:0:0:
01:23:571 (2,3) - Maybe move it 1/2 beat later and shorten 01:23:910 (3) by 1/2 beat as in 00:29:843 (3), I think it's the same rhythm so it should have a bit of consistency.
01:17:131 (1,1) - Same as 00:22:893 (1) and 00:25:605 (1).
01:29:843 (3) - *nazi* Improve this blanket by moving the last node to x:28 y:120.

[Kinomi's Muzukashii]
00:37:978 (66,67,68) - I felt this shouldn't be that dense, try removing (67).
00:56:114 - Try a rhythm like this, 00:56:114 (141,142) inversed fits more for vocals, a 3/4 rhythm matches better than a simple 1/1 like 00:56:792 (145,146,147), the triple there is optional though.

00:58:148 (150,151,152,153,154,155) - If you do the triple above, you may change this to ddk for a bit of consistency.
01:32:893 - Add a note here (preferably a don), as it sounds a bit empty as it looks you're following the synthesizer.
01:35:266 - Add a don here to keep following the same as above.

Oni looks fine.

That'd be all from my part, as you asked me just Beginner diff, good luck /o/

Some quick things on the taikos before I bubble.

[Oni]
OD and HP 6, 5 is too low for Oni.

[Muzukashii]
OD and HP 5.

00:57:131 (146) - This isn't in the snapped properly. Move it backwards to 00:57:046, then place a don at 00:57:300 to even out the rhythm.

That is all.

How about TR1 on Normal for consistency with the rest of the diffs? (Not in TR, but slider tracks and how sliders sound in general throughout the set)
