Though I've only started listening to them within the last year or so, I honestly like Avenged Sevenfold more than any other rock or metal band, and even FEEL that they are better than every other. My parents both love older rock/metal, so I don't even know what sort of response I would get if I told them.

I hide the fact that I watch anime from my best friends and family because they think anime is weird. My friends always laugh at anything anime related, calling it weird. I've also wanted to go to conventions to meet other people who share the same interest but don't want to look weird to my friends/family.
