What anime you refuse to watch?

Any 100+ episode anime (excessive filler bullshit warranted by massive fanbase/budget), Legend of Galactic Heroes (BEST strategic ever wow!!!), nearly all sports anime (initially interesting, inevitably repetitive), and any VRMMORPG anime for blatant reasons.
Elfen Lied... I read the first manga chapter then I read the wiki and it put me off, I wouldn't consider it as horror, I would consider it as "borderline" sick. And not the 'sick' as in cool but the 'sick' as in very disturbing. ._.
Basically any anime with more than 100 episodes. So stuff like bleach and naruto. They are way too long to watch all the way through.
Anime with more 12 episodes exept Mirai Nikki. .-.
You'd be surprised what precious gems you can miss with such a narrow tolerance. My rule of thumb is always to watch at least the entire first episode with reasonable optimism and then decide from there. By this point not much of the plot or characterization will be exposed, so usually it's the art style and overall visualization that make or break for me.NekuroChan wrote:

I used to never want to watch Naruto but recently I've picked it up and i'm just skipping the fillers..
But for years I've never wanted to watch it and now i've almost completed it ;D

Some anime shorts such as Beelzebub. I don't understand the humor. Other similar "monster" esque shows.
I refuse to touch shows that use excessive fanservice to draw in viewers. Even if there is a plot to it, I find it extremely difficult to enjoy.

High School of the Dead. It looks like a lot of action and girls and awesome stuff, but I just refuse it because it seems so pointless to watch like it will be wasting my time, idk it probably is actually a good show I just refure to watch it, lol.

I really like the general idea that "reverse harems are gross but regular harems are A-OK"[/sarcasm]
Probably Naruto, One Piece, and any other animes with the main focus being in mechas.
Any Sports, Mecha, Ecchi (I don't mind it that much just as long as the series has a really interesting story) and pointless Harem titles in which the protagonist doesn't end up with a character, those just annoy me.
Harem anime, but if it has sci-fi or mecha, i don't really mind. imb4 Infinite Stratos

Ir efused to watch infinite stratos 2. seriously, they got good stories at previous season and then when i watch the 2nd season first episodes all they do is put fan service everywhere. dissapointing.
Kuroko no Basuke, Free!, Junjou Romantica. I'm sure you get the idea with just those 3 titles.
BL ofc, and I stopped watching Elfen Lied after he first episode.. I watched the first hundred or so episodes of Naruto but got bored with all the childish filler.
I don't mind ecchi though, a lot of times I feel like watching something more light-hearted and not something with a super suspenseful and complicated plot.
