I can fully understand why people wouldn't want to watch it.

Toriko, Sword Art Online (Ofc, the anime though I only read the LN, since they didn't really do the 2 WHOLE ARCS, even though some say they did, but I'm more into its LN not its anime and I don't really trust the other fans. I don't care if you sue me on this. >.>), School Days (I did not really refuse but dropped it since I placed it on my NTR/Netorare list. I DO HATE NTR.) :?

It's not really the pointless amount of gore that happens that makes that anime title bad, it's how stupid the story itself is since they try to compensate for a lack of decent plot with just throwing tits and gore in your face every episode.

The manga was sub-par but the anime was atrocious.

I think I refuse to watch almost all the newer anime that have been released (I just don't feel like they are interesting.)
Unless someone actually tells me how good it is and its not pointless, then I'll give it a try.

Elfen Lied is my favourite, I have seen it over 20 times. It does not have enough nudity or blood. It could have had so much more.

no, becuase they are typical shonen and are very bad gateway anime, they suck and are very cliche and the fan base is all children

I'll probably get a lot of hate for this but...I could not make it past the second episode of Clannad. The art style bugged me, the plot didn't interest me, and it felt way too much like a visual novel. I usually don't drop things that quickly but...I dunno maybe the time just wasn't right
