Click on a local score and then click in Watch Replay, but if the score is old the Replay may have been deleted, so I recommend you to save your important replays with the F2 key!
To open an external replay you just need the replay file and when you open it you just need to press the Watch Replay button.
If you're saying about how the video is sped-up, he must have done it in the video editor.

Mr sonic there is a way to do it in the game. If you're wondering how he is speeding it up like that then it's very simple. Just open osu and osu settings then go to your release steam and change it to cutting edge. Go into the replay and use the 1-9 keys on your keyboard to speed up and slow down the replay.
