After today's update (background and stuff) I can't hear my custom skin's hitsounds.
Only beatmaps' custom hitsounds.

Confirming this.
The hitsounds located in skin folders don't work even if fun spoiler settings override is checked.

What you say is true though, this issue has been fixed with the latest build so marking it as resolved.
