i guess i'd have to own the possibility that i'm defending poly through me giving this comment resistance, but i just generally hesitate to hold the thought that me not conveying what i wanted to is necessarily the fault of the people reading what i type
...maybe you're right, but in that case it isn't entirely something poly is obligated to understand the way i personally want it to be understood
additionally, posturing myself as being more responsible for miscommunication like this... could maybe reasonably be read as a victim complex? idk, that's one of many concepts i internalize and wonder about, and if true it would be a result of various insecurities that i'm not fully aware of right now, but
idk then i'm introducing unrelated speculation into an otherwise simple subject as perceived by any given viewer in the audience
speaking of audience, that's kind of maybe why i appeal to this? the perpetual internal audience that i project onto the unseen mass of people visiting the forum as a way to compensate for me not knowing or understanding people or how to engage with them, as well as my own immense need to understand and master myself through having every angle of substantive critique available to me for my pursuit of some kind of unattainably clean/palatable persona, et cetera
