pp for not PB play?

Yo guys, so the question in description, i dunno is it bug or thats how pp system works? I just played one map with hddt and noticed that i hit huge amount of 100x in same part every time, but still fc, got 95 pp and set personal best by score. I decide to replay map but without hidden, so i can see what im doing wrong, fc map with better accuracy, but lower score, so not PB, but i get my pp for this.. why? i heard about derankers and so on, thats why i thought i get PP only for personal best score.

score has no impact on pp, it's just a measure of your combo.

You had better acc, which has more impact on your pp. Given enough of an acc disparity, you can get more pp from a DT play than an HDDT play if you improve on the former, even the latter has a better score.

EDIT: Oh yeah, 94% HDDT to a 99% DT will definitely give you more pp on the DT play.

Acc and combo both impact your pp yeah

Thanks for reply guys! Couple times i set new PB score and get -1/-2 pp cause worst accuracy but fc.. i thought like "okay, so i get pp from my PB scores". But now it makes sense, i noticed that with better accuracy i get more pp. Guess, i have to work about that, 96-98% looks garbage :D

that's called scorev1'd :D, avoid that by having more spinners or less 100s/50s (includes SSing)

Your top score for each mod combination is submitted. Because of that your DT only score (with higher pp due to the acc) overwrote your HDDT score as your top pp score on the map and is in your top plays. If you submitted another DT only score with higher score but lower pp, it would indeed overwrite the old DT only score and you would lose pp.
