you have to force yourself to alt
if i still suck at starting streams / bursts with my non dominant finger
do i just force myself until i get over it ?

the good thing is that at least for now my aim / reading isnt the issue

i did previously mention i struggle starting streams / bursts with my non dominant finger even tho ive been alternating ever since i started playing (almost)
frfr timing can be pretty dificult at timesNanofranne wrote:
Timing is really tricky on high bpm alt (especially finger control element where absolutely lunatic map where you go 1/3 then 1/6 then back to 1/4 aaaaa). You need to have better sense of rhythm and faster reading.
Playing usual high tempo maps will help to read faster, but for alternating so fast, it's a matter of practice makes perfect. If you happen to undertap a lot like I used to, you might need to increase your tapping speed alongside with playing more alt
Here's good map to practice to
beatmapsets/1625177#osu/3317976
so start slow once again and slowly grind my way up ?KS Wicher wrote:

nah but really if something is hard for you you can just try untill its easy for you or start from an easier variation and slowly move up with difficulty
lets say you can alt 90 bpm comfortably
try alting 100 and if its impossible grind 95 untill you can do 100
full alternating also helps to speed up the process but full alt is not for everyoneangel in danger wrote:

1. ig i feel more comfortable starting bursts with same finger ? depends on bpm ig if its not that fast i can full altDM FOR MUTUAL wrote:
1. How specifically do you alt, do you full alt everything or start bursts on the same finger or what?
2. By "high bpm" what bpm do you mean specifically?
3. What patterns are you specifically struggling to alt when you say "high bpm alt"? Jumps, bursts, alt patters, something else, or a combination of these?
4. If your answer was bursts then how exactly are you struggling? Are you just not fast enough to hit them, or is it a finger control issue or what?
Answer these and I'll try give to specific advice
You responded so quickly that I didn't see your response and just assumed that you hadn't responded for the last 24h lolangel in danger wrote:
