Wacom is generally regarded as the high end option, its quality is good but it is expensive. XP-Pen is a reliable, cheaper alternative.
I'd recommend that you play the game a bit before investing in a tablet, especially an expensive one.
I've used two tablets, my current one is Wacom CTH-480, I don't have any complaints that aren't my fault (I've damaged it a little and it's a little finicky), but frankly I didn't think it was that big of an upgrade from my Veikk S640 (which I tend to hear bad things about).
