Help, how do I even fix this technique

Whenever I stream, I am not able to fully lift my middle finger (orange) until the last moment. This has caused me a lot of trouble when going into higher BPMs and longer streams

I have been playing for 700ish hours so the technique is ingrained in my hand, and consciously lifting the finger doesn't seem to help.
Lately, I have tried some low bpm deathstream practice maps but I am not sure if this is the right way to fix it.

Thanks in advance, any advice is appreciated.

Consciously working the lift that finger up is the main/only way to fix something like that which is so ingrained into the way you play. You have to put the conscious effort to change the way you have been playing into a new playstyle or else your muscle memory will get confused between the new and old and screw you over (or just revert to the old before you notice and correct).

Probably try playing mid/high 3* and low 4* burst maps (like Euphoria) or something.

The issue with that is that if I do it I end up tensing my fingers a lot, which makes me unable to stream high bpms just as if I never changed the technique

play easier map to practice new technique. don't play too fast maps when practicing a new technique. you are worse with it so you need easier maps.
