Anatomy
I used to love drawing when I was 12 but I gave up because I had other interests; this is how I draw a typical face.
I don't care if it's not realistic, I just do this for fun so...

I'm also an artist and I struggled with faces a whole lot. I'm not into the anime art style as much anymore, but I'd like to give you some of my knowledge. (Keep in mind that I'm not a pro artist or anything lol)
(I also know this is an old thread, so you probably already figured it out)
First you draw the head I guess [transparent background]
Here are the actual guidelines
And then you add in all the features according to the guidelines
Art piece using the same guidelines [done quickly]
And if it's the features you need help on, it'd be best to copy each of the features individually. That way you can learn the art style!

Utilize references, everyone! They can be incredibly helpful.
Even if you don't consciously search for references on your screen, your mind often retrieves them from your own memories stored inside your head.
