std only medal unfortunately

Okay, first of all, what RGB color value? For either Std ranked version of the map I don't see any actual colors unless it refers to the stuff before the diff name (eg. "Vanchanical"insane)

Secondly, does it matter which set? THere's one from 2021 and one from 2023, and I know you said "any" but that doesn't mean it can't be specific to one mapset.

Third, does NF count or no?

The color means the diff color on the website.
All mapset counts, as long as the song is theyaremanycolors.
Not sure, but I guess it works.

1. refers to the color of the difficulty on the website. for example, 4*s on the website are usually displayed as reddish
2. looks like current reqs are that its 4*-5.29* and its on a standard set. afaik both currently ranked standard sets are tested to work.
3. sadly no, expert hush hush medals don't use difficulty reducing mods

But is there a specific color, though?

I mean, this kinda seems like a moot question since you've solved it already, but considering the difficulty coloring scheme is a whole spectrum from blue to red/orange to dark blue/black it seems like there's supposed to be a specific color for that part of the spectrum; I guess, in this case, whatever specific color you get for each 4.XX value?

(jeez, good luck getting a d-rank without dying.)

EDIT: Also, wouldn't NF not be a difficulty reducing mod since it doesn't lower the SR value? (although I guess because it makes it so you literally can't fail that's a difficulty reduction in and of itself.)

yeah its the color for the specific difficulty. quite hard to explain, the link has more info.

in addition, new conditionals were discovered. the rankings arent necessary (only the combos are) and you can fail the first two plays, as long as you pass the last

also, nf is classified as "difficulty reducing" under the f1 mod selection menu, along with ez and ht

imo this is a fairly trivial solution (compared to other attempted solutions). i'm actually surprised this wasnt obtained on the first week, but i think it wasn't an idea that was visited until staff members started to give more specific hints

I mean, I can see how it's fairly trivial compared to others, but I also can't really see how you'd draw comparisons to the SPECIFIC DIFFICULTY COLOR SCHEMA and the map itself without being tipped in that direction.
