It doesn't really mean anything. As one example, I think I learn at about an average pace, but I spend so much time on low SR that I've racked up tons of hours. If someone plays too much, they'll also rack up more hours even if they're improving at the same rate day-to-day as someone with less hours. Also, someone might improve fast at the start and then hit a plateau when they get to 5* or 6*, or they might have a lot of trouble at the start but improve fast once they have the fundamentals down. Unless you're both playing the same maps, hours aren't really an accurate way to compare yourself to others. Speed isn't everything, the important thing is to keep your spirit so that you don't get burnt out. You can have the most efficient improvement method ever but if you quit the game, you won't get any better anyways.

its actually the signed 32-bit integer limit which is why some maps force sv2 so that you don't run into that limit (but its still possible im pretty sure)Voidedosu wrote:

tbh i would love pp-based leaderboard rankings but imo the reason mania scoring kinda works for mania and not for standard is because with standard you have to factor in aim, which is reflected poorly in accuracy but acknowledged more with combo.Aizuuya wrote:
