Remember old Mirai's video where he bought a thing for training fingers? Of course it didn't do much because he used it only for a day. Since that day I wondered - did finger strength correlate with speed?
Wasn't playing Osu for half a year, and playing seriously for more that a year, but last 3 months started training forearms extensively at the gym. Just hammer curls, reverse, supination, finger curls, and some deadhangs.
Today spontaneously opened Osu, fooled around for a bit and eventually played 6* 220 BPM "rog-unlimitation". To my surprise for the first time I passed, although I tried at my heights and couldn't. Later checked on other stream maps like "Everything will freeze" and got the same positive result.
This might be not much for others, but a surprising development for me, thus leading to the conclusion that training forearms and fingers does indeed develops streaming speed.
Maybe some had similar experience? Please share
