Should I go back to mouse?

I've been playing tablet since around Late November of 2021 and got my first 200 on the 25th of december of that year, Because of that I fully commited to tablet and enjoying it, I undoubtibly have pretty good aim with tablet but I feel very uncomfortable. Pen nibs feel scratchy or my grip feels very much like it's a bad grip to aim anything with or just the price of felt nibs lol, When I play mouse now I am pretty bad but my aim feels very consistent and the grip feels just perfect. Should I switch back or stay on tablet?

I have like a 4* fc with mouse and 7* fc with tablet.

It doesn't really matter which peripheral you choose. Both are have upsides and downsides but the skill ceiling is the same. Go with what you are most comfortable with or like the best.

If you stay with mouse you will continue suck for a while as you adjust but after you have adjusted to it you will have aim at around the same level as when you played tablet. The skill you got playing tablet will transfer over eventually.

As a former mouse player, I think that the playstyle just depends on your preferences.

If you are already good with tablet, no need to switch to mouse, but if you feel like mouse is more comfortable, you can go back to mouse as well

you can mod ur tablet/pen and not use nibs at all if you don't want to. just make anything out of something that isn't metal and it will work fine as a pen tip/tablet cover.

i didn't like nibs for the same reason and haven't used them in years, i do drag on a very big area.

One of the main advantages of having a big area over a small one is that you don't have to drag as hard. You also don't have to grip as hard either.

I like low DPI on mouse for the same reason
