Umm, at this BPM, I wouldn't recommend using 1/4 as much as you did. It's already really fast, and either way, you played the 1/4 randomly so it looks ugly and just tires the person.
In this case, I'd only recommend to use 1/4 in ending kiai or something, but nothing that'll make it too hard. Look at my Carnival map for example, there is no 1/4 used for the whole map, except the end, where it's a simple ddd.
Use like, 5 1/2 notes, and either omit one tick, place a note, omit another, and start another pattern of like seven or something, or keep it at like 5 notes, omit a tick, x notes, omit a tick, etc. etc.
[Ono's Taiko Inne Oni]
In Ono's taiko, I guess it fits more being that it's an Inner, so it's more tiring.
But, raise volume to at least 80 lol.
