i'm made osu! skin... MINIONALIST! dedicating to my favorite movie: Minions.
not doing skin for 3 years+ now so sorry not meta but i try.

Forum Post

  1. no details on pro vs noob version

Skin - ingame

Song Selection
  1. Love the animated menu-back
  2. group/sort dropdowns arent aligned perfectly img
  3. on the userprofile cover the numbers and % are slightly cut off at the top img
  4. great selection-mods-over
  5. mode selection: standard uses two-tone lazer icon, taiko uses monocolour lazer icons, while mania is only the center lazer icon and catch is a banana. Would be nice to make taiko not default lazer icon.
Gameplay
  1. scorebar makes it hard to see the life
  2. sliderstartcircles are just weird (pro ver)
  3. noob version doesnt have blanked out combobursts
  4. no scorebar-bg without a playfield border provided, would be nice to see as an extra
Pause and Fail
  1. not much to say here, they are just kinda boring compared to the rest of the skin
Ranking Panel
  1. watch replay and retry button is wayyy to wide,
  2. menu-back has too much empty space on the right
  3. glow on the menu-back is cutoff at the top

Skin - folder

  1. ImageScaler.exe is included
Overall a nice skin, however the consistency across different screens is a bit lackluster, e.g. pause/fail being very flat while everything else is quite detailed with many effects. Also huge kudos for drawing the minions

Best skin and deserves the top spot in the contest imo. The combo noises are distracting though but overall the skin is perfect and hilarious.

Most of the Chinese in the skin elements were wrong,please check ur elements before skin release.
For example,
STD in chinese osu term mean 标准,not 疾病.
Payer Introduction mean 玩家简介,not 球员简介,that is Polysemy.
i can't even understand mode section use "的模式" for what,I think "模式选择"(mode selection) should be used here.
there are many such wrong translate.
Machine translation sucks.
