I'll just explain by pictures since slidershaping is better to be learnt visually.
Note: This is my personal mapping style to what I grasp as "good visual".
You are not forced to imitate this.

Curved sliders
Map your curved/wave sliders using approach circles for perfect circular mapping. (Also a good structure)

Straight sliders
Your straight sliders have parallel/equal gradient. (Pict 1.)
Maximum complex straight sliders ≤ 15° (Pict 2.)
Maximum simple straight sliders are ≤ 10° (Pict 3.)

Complex sliders
This one can't explain much, but I'll tell you which is good and bad.
It only depends whether you feel natural or not with the sliders.
Good slider (Pict 1.)
Bad slider(Pict 2.)

Structure
Structures with curved/wave sliders must use their "curves" for putting other circles/sliders.
Their curves must be perfectly circular to the hitcircles.

Overlapping
Good overlapping means natural/perfect overlap to its previous slider.
Circular (Pict 1.)
Curved u-turn (Pict 2.)
Curved (Pict 3.)
Perfect overlapping (Pict 4.)

Partial overlapping
Mismagius' technique in his TAS. You can feel more unique, right?

thank you so much

tbh you can just go for the sotarks route of just making slightly curve sliders/straight sliders and you would be fine, if you wanna make some slider-pilled maps i recommend checking out high ranked entries of community-made mapping contest, they often have really good usage of sliders

if there's a noticeable sound, place a red anchor, otherwise make it a bit curved/straight only

try not to just do random shapes if it doesn't represent the song well
