[Easy] I'm not very creative xD00:13:125 - 00:36:020 - You use the same rhythm pattern everywhere in the song. It gets really boring and repetitive even in first playthrough. Come up with some (easy) variations to make it less repetetive and more interesting. A good rule is to never use the same rhythm pattern more than 2x in a row. I will give you two examples:
00:16:283 (5) - new combo
00:19:441 (9) - delete circle, use slider from white tick to white tick
00:21:020 (11) - ^
00:24:572 - add circle
00:24:967 (4) - shorten slider (white tick to red tick) and repeat 1x
00:32:072 (5,6) - replace with slider from (5) to (6)
00:33:651 (7,8) - delete, replace with slider from (7) to starting point of (8)
00:34:836 - add slider (from white tick to red tick) and repeat 1x
00:35:230 (9) - delete
Those are 2 good examples of how to make easy maps less repetetive. Try to improve all the other repeating parts in similar ways but be sure to keep some of these signature patterns intact:
00:51:020 - 01:00:888 You should REALLY avoid unpredictable or strange rhythm patterns in easy maps. Try changing this part and give it a try in play-mode:
00:52:599 - add circle
00:56:151 - ^
00:57:138 (5) - move back to start at 00:56:546 (white tick)
00:57:730 - add slider (white tick to white tick) and repeat 1x
00:58:915 - add circle
00:59:704 - add slider (white tick to white tick)
01:00:888 (1) - move back to 01:00:493, keep the same ending at 01:03:257
Remember: As long as your easy version is below 3 stars you're safe. Just keep the rhythm pattern simple and avoid jumps. Try to make it as interesting as possible within those limits.
[Normal+] I tried my best to make it better -____-Same as in easy: Very repetitive. You should use a higher slider velocity for this version and keep your 1,0x spacing to make it a bit less cramped. I suggest 1,30 to 1,50 (change in timing tab). You have to check ALL sliders (they will be too short) and rearrange ALL notes to match the 1,0x spacing with the new slider speed. While you're doing this, remap the repeating parts.
[Hard] I kinda knew they were wrong xD00:11:941 (8) - using clap hitsounds is VERY annoying with thos overticked sliders. Overticked because they do not match the song/rhythm at all. Correct ryhthm would be slider from white tick to blue tick with 1x repeat:
If you want to keep the wrong sliders don't use clap.
General thoughts:
- Add some (small) jumps. This is more like another normal+ version. You use 0,8x spacing so slow triplet jumps could be 1,2x and pattern jumps 1,6x. Just be sure the jumps fit the song and are not random.
- Never use gridsnap for notefollow sections. Use only distance snap and hold [Strg] (or [Ctrl] for EN layout) to allign notes every 45°
- Maybe use some direction changes in your long notefollow sections (have to fit the song)
- I'm not sure about the short spinners (white tick to white tick). I think they will cause problems with most MAT/BATs.
Other than that pretty good. I like the "oldschool" notefollow-style.
[Lunatic Collab] Thanks for the hint I finally could reduce the score Not rankable (20m+ points). Maybe for approval. But you are no well known mapper so I guess there is not a single chance this will ever happen. Replace many of the always repeating triplets with sliders (1x repeat, no repeat...just bring in some variations). The more sliders you use, the better (as this will reduce score). Try to stay below 15m points. And just like in [Hard] you should never use gridsnap for notefollows and triplets as it will mess up your distance spacing.
~star because I can see the potential here
