My score is on the left. We both got the same amount of Greats, except i got more MAX than the other guy, yet I somehow ended up with less score. Did he beat me just by having a higher combo? 0_o

So yeah, although the score system in mania is accuracy based, holding more combo will still give you more points.Mania wiki wrote:

It's not really because of the combo (combo is not a factor in osu!mania scoring). The lower score must have got several Greats close to each other, while the higher score had those Greats more spread apart.
