Reminds me of Chronos, which means something like time. With the suffix "A", it means something like "No time".
Now, "malia" reminds me of "malleolus": important part of your leg bone for the junction between your leg and your feet.
It doesn't make fucking sense lol. I thought it could be something poetic.
actually, it's a bit different.
Suffix A -- "none, without"
"chroma" -- "color"
"-malia" is actually the ending of "anomalia", which is spanish for "anomaly" (i'm hispanic, so it's also a fair hint to my ethnicity too, so why not?). I considered my life an achromatic anomaly where i simply just couldn't feel things like other people could. i refer to the lack of "color" as a lack of "emotion", and consider it a sufficient analogy.
Achromanomalia is a terrible name.
Achronomalia refers to an anomalous lack of time, though admittedly, that'd be a pretty great name.
Achromamalia refers to an anomalous lack of color, but the spelling's just a bit awkward.
Achromalia it was. An anomaly who lacks color.
I prefer to refer to myself as Achromatism, though. it's much simpler and is an actual word. it happens to be my producer name on Soundcloud, where I upload my music and stuff. applies to Discord as well.
