I know I haven't been online in almost three years, but that's because I was on a different rhythm game since 2015. I don't know if you heard of it, but it's called, Malody. It's a pretty neat rhythm game in my opinion. And best/worst part is, for android it's free, but for iOS it's $0.99. It's also for PC.

What's in it?

•Import OSU beatmaps.
•Taiko.
•Catch (CTB).
•Keys (Mania).
•Pad.
•Rings.
•DJ (used to be there).
•Beatmap creator

For as long I've been on, Malody, there isn't that many people on it, possibly 10 if you're lucky. But, yeah. Y'all should give it a try. :3

It recently got updated again to allow for multiplayer. The game has also had a major redesign. About the chat function, at the bottom of your screen, there should be a gray bar where you can simply tap to open the chat window. It should become pretty easy to figure out after that. The chat isn't very active, but there's always one or two people on. Whether they use the chat is up to luck, I guess. There's also a Discord, but the same problem remains: not enough players play the game and are active in the community to allow for a decent amount of conversation.

(Unless you're Chinese. Which then means you're in luck, because the Malody QQ group is open and has many of the staff members and often has a conversation going on.)

To import osu! beatmaps, you can tap the '+' at the top left of your screen. However, any osu!std charts will be altered to become Catch and/or Taiko mode charts.

DJ isn't that active anymore, because we don't have any active charters. The publishers (basically the equivalents to BNs here) are also facing exams. Most of them are Chinese, too, so the chart stabling/ranking process is quite slow. Might be worth it to check it out again, though.

yeah actually it's a cool app. although the ctb mode is quite easy since it's like having relax mode on. also you can teleport.
