Just finished 07-Ghost. I thought for sure that anime was made around 2003-2006 era judging by visuals, but no it was 2009. I used DN Angel and Shakugan no Shana season 1 as references for the estimation, but more closely DN Angel. I had to ponder my incorrectness for a bit.

I haven't really watched any anime in years, but I decided to pick up Made in Abyss after hearing some great things about it. I'm on episode 5 or something so far and I'm really enjoying it. I'm fairly impartial about the characters, but I love the universe and environments that they created and the sense of adventure and discovery.

The world only uses AI cars. No one knows how to drive. Whenever AI cars go rogue they send in these eX-Drivers to stop them because they can still drive traditional vroom VROOOM cars.
I never knew this anime existed. I'm glad it's a thing. You get to see a Subaru Impreza, a Lotus Europe and a Caterham Super Seven in the first episode.
Kind of interesting. Car sounds are really good too.
