osu!replayViewer

Share your osu! performance to everyone !

Website URL : https://osureplayviewer.xyz

Tutorial :
  1. Go the homepage and upload your replay
  2. Wait some time (depend of the number of requests)
  3. Check if the processing of your replay is finished (on the search page)
  4. Open the search page and type your osu! username or ID (you can try with my username)
  5. Select your replay
  6. Enjoy

Features :
  1. Convert .ors osu replay file into video
  2. Create a sharable link for the recorded replay
  3. Can only record a replay one by one (for now ;) )

In the future :
  1. Like and report functions.
  2. Deploy osu!replayClient. A recording client.
  3. Use mirror for beatmaps not available on the osu website

it is not impossible, for now i've only receive content ID copyright (from sony. What a surprise).
If my youtube channel would be closed, i'll transfer all the replay into another hosting service (like Dailymotion).

It doesn't make sense to load the website and get "upload successful" when you haven't done anything yet, change it to "Standing by" or "Upload your replay here!". After you've uploaded anything you can change the text according to what happened. Honestly the state of it is not fit for release as you do not know any progress whatsoever. Don't make people wait for something which may not work at the end :(

Thanks for the advice.
I've already made hours of test and my website is working like it should.
What it lack is some secondary functionalities but that doesn't prevent players to use the website.

NB : Like you said, "it is not fit for release". It's much like a beta release for now (I've edited the title to warn players)

I'd say Alpha rather than Beta but looking forward to this project. May help with the website css a bit.

Okay, it's my first real project so it's hard to estimate the progress.
Thank you ^^

Another thing I discovered is if I upload my old replays with my older username I get "You must have an osu account to upload". That means it won't work if someone changes their name?

Strange, I use the osu id for this verification. So if your old account has been deleted, the website think that the player doesn't exist.

So a name change will do nothing.

NB : i made a github issue for this https://github.com/codevirtuel/osu-replayViewer-web/issues/2

Love it. Can there be future options to control background dim, video, and skin?

First of all. Thank you :)
And for your proposal. Why not but it require more processing time, and for the moment i have only one processing computer. So I've added your idea in the list of future features.

Have fun ;D

Are you sure those maps were played by you?
Because if not then you have to search by those users names.

Trust me and look for "Izec" ;)

Now I will explain what happened, creator of this project did not think about the fact that someone might have spaces in his nickname.

Because in the replay at the end of your nickname there's character attached to it "" that you have to get rid off but because of that space in your name php code treats your nickname as a Izect, not Izect or Izect Ztenz.

Izect - 1 letter = Izec
Fix this please...

this comment is not true.

it's seems not like osurecord.weaboo.com , it's just upload 1 replay and waiting admin for record the replay. it's very hard bro if you just record 1by1

Because it's not the same as osurecord. It just inspired me to do this project.
And it's not as hard as you can think.

What he means is, unless you have automated recording this project will die pretty fast due to you losing interest, and I agree with that.

Recording is already automated. I have made a client that download the replay, record and send the record to my server.

In the future everyone may download this client and transform his computer into a recording device for the project.

What are the hardware specs of recording machine? And what OS do you use?
Adri
As you planned to "chose a skin", do you think that it would be a great idea for a user to be able to set a skin that he's using so replays of him use his skin ?

For example I have my own skin, so if a replay of me should be recorded it would be with my own skin that I can send on the website, or host with a permalink if you don't want to store it ?

EDIT: I've uploaded a mania replay a few days ago and it uploaded fine, but now I'm trying to upload this one : https://mega.nz/#!PRA3QDYI!CRF5jL2mhZvY ... eNUC8iIn-0

And it says it's not an osu replay

I use windows 10 with a intel I5 7200U And a NVIDIA GeForce 930MX.

Because my client is java based, it can easily run on linux.

It's now easy to know if your replay is being processed !

I've added a new feature : The progress bar !

A queue number will be soon added.
Enjoy !

Just a small mistake, but the 'Encoding' part, when the replay is encoding says 'Encording'. It's only a small mistake, though. Great website, used it to render a replay I had lying around (my first +100pp play) and it worked flawlessly.

I've fix this mistake.

Where can I find news about your project? Really looking forward to that tho. Keep up the good work!

P.S. Any updates about that client available for everyone?

First of all. Thanks you ;)

And to follow the progress, go to my github project page :
https://github.com/codevirtuel/osu-replayViewer-web

I'll soon make a new update for the progress bar and some new features.

For now I'm still working on a releaseable version of the client.
That require a lot of work (security, user accounts ,client Sync ,user interface, ...).

So wait some time before the first release ;) .
