General
You need to use green lines at 01:34:525 (1) - to decrease volume since you're mapping the fade out

Normal
AR 3 might be a bit low, I think 4 suits this diff better
00:17:626 (6) - There's a unique drum here, why not add a red slider point (or any unique slider shpe) so this has a bit more emphasis than the current slider shape
That or use a different rhythm like 01:24:272 (5,6) -
00:51:993 (1) - It would fit to add a slidertick using the soft-hitclap2, as they map the same sounds.

Your low diffs are pretty good

Hard
00:03:385 (1,2) - This slider body is much closer than 00:00:348 (1,2) - , rotate or move 1 away to reduce chance of triggering people
00:22:942 (5) - This would follow music better if it was a 1/1 slider, changing rhythm emphasises change in pace, and lowers note density in the next section, which is hard relative to the diff.
00:23:892 (8,9,1) - This would be easier to read if 8,9 wasn't overlapping the other objects here. You use a lot of overlaps, but I think it's best to avoid since there's a number of rhythm changes which makes it a hard section.
00:24:651 (1) - This would also be better as 1/1. There are no 3/4 sliders elsewhere, and the sound you have as a circle isn't too strong.
00:27:689 (1) - just set this to be 0.8x so convert players have a better time xd
00:42:879 (1,2,3) - Too many overlaps. You usually overlap one object at most, but there's two here. Move some of the previous objects to avoid, should be simple since it's just after a break
00:51:993 (1) - Would prefer to have denser rhythm here, as there's quite a jump from lower diffs to insane.. If you use mainly 1/1 rhythm here, it provide a better spread between all diffs.
01:01:107 (1) - This is the only slider with a red anchor, somewhat out of place here. Add more to emphasise other parts, or just remove it.
01:05:284 (5,6) - You weren't using distance spacing emphasis anywhere up till now. Either change this so it's consistent distance, or add more spacing emphasis in the rest of the diff.
01:12:310 (8,9,10) - 01:17:816 (5,6,7) - Move the last circle down and left by 4/5 pixels each. Auto stack makes this look a bit ugly
01:35:474 (4,5) - Increase stack leniency, this is the only perfect stack because it's two sliders

4x reverse sliders are a bit  but kinda fit

Insane
HP 7 is probably too high, no need to force player to fail/challenge them to pass on this kind of set
00:02:816 (1) - Slider velocity contrast is a bit too high to the next part, and there isn't too much change. Increase it a little just to be a bit more similar
00:07:753 (3) - You can rotate this clockwise so that it's symmetrical to the next slider, would make it consistent with the previous pattern
01:20:664 (1,2) - These could be spaced apart farther, too close when considering slider leniency, that and other patterns are spaced further
01:29:778 (2) - Could curve for a better blanket and decrease how close it is to offscreen but that's optional

Love your structure, it's really organised and free-flowing at the same time.

00:17:626 (6) - There's a unique drum here, why not add a red slider point (or any unique slider shpe) so this has a bit more emphasis than the current slider shape
That or use a different rhythm like 01:24:272 (5,6) - copied the rhythm. i kinda missed the sound.
00:51:993 (1) - It would fit to add a slidertick using the soft-hitclap2, as they map the same sounds. it worked fine on first 3 sliders but it sounds weird on the next slider especially on 00:58:069 (1,2) - lol. keeping as it is for now since im not that familiar with hitsounding yet.

Your low diffs are pretty good

Insane
HP 7 is probably too high, no need to force player to fail/challenge them to pass on this kind of set i guess
00:02:816 (1) - Slider velocity contrast is a bit too high to the next part, and there isn't too much change. Increase it a little just to be a bit more similar yea i kinda noticed it when i played it. adjusted abit
00:07:753 (3) - You can rotate this clockwise so that it's symmetrical to the next slider, would make it consistent with the previous pattern its intentional for visual and flow thats why i made 00:08:512 (4) - different from 00:07:753 (3) -
01:20:664 (1,2) - These could be spaced apart farther, too close when considering slider leniency, that and other patterns are spaced further adjusted space
01:29:778 (2) - Could curve for a better blanket and decrease how close it is to offscreen but that's optional fixed and moved it abit inside. didnt realize its already offscreen

Love your structure, it's really organised and free-flowing at the same time.
Thanks for mods and compliments :D

also added hitsound for 00:57:689 - cause it sounds cool

00:24:651 (1) - This would also be better as 1/1. There are no 3/4 sliders elsewhere, and the sound you have as a circle isn't too strong. i guess i'll use 1/2 and circle instead
00:51:993 (1) - Would prefer to have denser rhythm here, as there's quite a jump from lower diffs to insane.. If you use mainly 1/1 rhythm here, it provide a better spread between all diffs. I'd prefer to leave this part as i is, i think it work quite well for this pre-kiai section (because of this low rhythm density part from 01:01:107 - stand out more while being relatively easy to play)
01:35:474 (4,5) - Increase stack leniency, this is the only perfect stack because it's two sliders good point, i guess i'll just stack those manually then

4x reverse sliders are a bit  but kinda fit :3c

Fixed everything else! Thanks for mod c:

Hello o/

General:
  1. The end of the song cuts out too soon, I'd take the mp3 from Lasse's set because that one fades out nicely. (Nevermind it doesnt.)
  2. (Maybe transform the background image into a more reasonable size.)
Fragile Light
Timeline based:
  1. 00:02:056 (4) - I'd nc it or apply lower spacing (for 00:02:056 (4,5,6) - ) because the following circles got a follow-line whilst the previous ones don't, it just doesn't look that nice.
  2. 00:14:398 (2,3) - They dont follow the previous rythm, earlier you were mapping voice (red ticks)
but there you went for the drum (white ticks), after that you changed to voice again,
and I cant see why you'd need to change rythm here.
(Could put a circle here 00:14:398 - and follow up with two sliders on voice (red ticks))
  3. 00:29:208 (1,2,3) - Probably just me but you might want move the first circle manually (Ctrl+arrow-keys)
in order for it to overlap with the next circle instead of the slider. You did it later on so I'd do it here aswell.
  4. 00:41:360 (1,2,3) - Same here ^
  5. 00:43:259 (2,3) - Quite uncomfortable to hit.
  6. 00:44:208 (1,2,3) - Same here ^
  7. 00:51:234 (5,6,7) - Maybe change pattern a bit and nc 00:51:234 (5) - to emphasize the keyboard sounds more clearly.
Not that important but nice to have imo.
  8. 01:18:765 (5,1) - Me like
  9. 01:22:753 (3,6,7) - Stack thing, 3 doesnt overlap with the next circle but with the slider (Mentioned same thing above).
  10. 01:22:942 (4,5,6,7) - Not quite ok with the rythm here, it seems odd to me.
Might be because you were using circle into slider in a different manner previously.
  11. 01:28:449 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - That pattern seeks improvement and looks out of place.
  12. 01:34:335 (5) - Unexpected place to put the circle imo.
  13. 01:34:335 (5,2,3) - You did fix the stacking problem here, so I'd change the other ones aswell.
Conlusion:
  1. I like the map overall, especially the use of hitsounds.

Sulfur's Hard
Overall based:
  1. Playing through and watching through in the editor I noticed weird hitsound choices I'd look at them again
and ensure they are set as you planned it.
  2. Also the spacing is sometimes inconsistent, some of those inconsistencies are caused by stacks
    (for example: 00:14:968 (8,9,1) - here 01:24:272 (7,8,9,10,11) - or here)
Other's just look odd because of changing slider velocity, which messes with overall spacing distance.
I know it is quite the minor difference overall, but it really drains visual appeal.
  3. 00:29:208 (1,2) - Weird overlap
  4. 00:41:360 (1,2) - Same ^, but well if you're doing it consistently it should be fine (still weird to me tho)
Conclusion:
  1. Can't go into more detail with that map.
  2. It just lacks some overall polishment imo.

Normal
Got nothing to say, seems clean.

Overall cute and solid, Good luck! ^^

in order for it to overlap with the next circle instead of the slider. You did it later on so I'd do it here aswell. fixed
  4. 00:41:360 (1,2,3) - Same here ^fixed
  5. 00:43:259 (2,3) - Quite uncomfortable to hit. its not that hard though. since its following the same circular flow
  6. 00:44:208 (1,2,3) - Same here ^ same
  7. 00:51:234 (5,6,7) - Maybe change pattern a bit and nc 00:51:234 (5) - to emphasize the keyboard sounds more clearly.
Not that important but nice to have imo. pattern is fine and i dont like bunch of NCs so i think its fine
  8. 01:18:765 (5,1) - Me like thank

Might be because you were using circle into slider in a different manner previously. it has a faint instrument that i kinda wanna follow and plus it plays nice too anyway. its like the one on 01:21:423 (3,4) -
  11. 01:28:449 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - That pattern seeks improvement and looks out of place. how come? the 1-2 patterns fits right to the song
  12. 01:34:335 (5) - Unexpected place to put the circle imo. i dont think so. looks fine to me.
  13. 01:34:335 (5,2,3) - You did fix the stacking problem here, so I'd change the other ones aswell. true. sometimes i forgot things
Conlusion:
  1. I like the map overall, especially the use of hitsounds.

hi mod request from discord

general
  • literally delete this map
in more serious notes, the mp3 fadeout is ugly due to the abrupt cutoff, but this was already mentioned so idk

also why is that a Pokemon In The Backgrounde
top diff
  1. 00:11:930 (4,5) - stack kinda contradicts with the rhythm 00:11:360 (2,3) - here, and as it is 00:11:930 (4) - is a pretty potent note, maybe make a jump here instead?
  2. 00:12:120 (5,1) - cymbal here has like no emphasis despite being a really strong beat plz space out more :steamsad:
  3. 00:23:892 (4,5) - sound gets progressively louder here, considering this is an insane diff it would probably fit the rhythm better having these spaced out more
  4. 01:04:145 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - god bless you
  5. 01:11:360 (7,2) - stack is off
  6. 01:29:588 (1,2) - the spacing from the previous jumps don't really build up to this climax as it should imo, buffing the spacing of 01:28:829 (1,2,1,2) - these two 1-2s would help the transition a bit cuz rn it's double the original spacing
all other diffs look good at a glance good jobr

  3. 00:23:892 (4,5) - sound gets progressively louder here, considering this is an insane diff it would probably fit the rhythm better having these spaced out more its a bit quiter compare to the rest of that part so small spacing fits fine.

  1. Metadata seems fine, but just in case you didn't have sources, and to avoid problems (link link), kwan did a great job by finding some good ones. photo taken from her metadata's discord.
  2. Currently you're not using drum-hitnormal2.wav
  3. According to the Modding Assistant, there might be some delay on the normal-hitfinish.wav Be sure to double check it.

    [Fragile Light]
  4. 00:21:328 (6) - Tbh i don't really can hear a stream here. Maybe adding a circle 00:21:518 (8) - here is more acceptable because of the piano note there. However, 00:21:328 (6) - isn't really supported at all, so would be better if you delete it imo. what you think? (pd: 00:24:272 (1,2,3,4,1) - in contrast with this streams, it's clear that the other stream isn't really supported :d)
  5. 00:29:208 (1,2) - Maybe you wanted to stack them? maybe not o: nvm you do it on 00:41:360 (1,2) - so I guess that's on purpose
  6. 01:24:272 (2,3) - consdering your whole mapping in the kiai, this transition felt a bit too high imo. I feel like you wanted to emphasize because on 01:25:411 - start the strongest part on the song, however the current ds on 01:24:272 (2,3) - is greater than the jumps on this stronger part, such like 01:26:550 (5,6) - 01:29:208 (1,2) - etc. I'd suggest something like moving 01:24:461 (3,4,5) - to 32|248 or so~

    [Sulfur's Hard]
  7. you have some unused green like that you might want to delete; 00:03:196 - 00:06:329 - etc.
  8. 00:49:525 (3) - since this slider have same shape as 00:48:955 (1) - and matches similar sound in the song, I find it a bit uncomfortable to be it overlapped with 00:49:335 (2) -. why not just move it a bit to the right so they don't overlap?
  9. 01:07:753 (3,6) - this slightly overlap feels like it wasn't intentional, maybe you'd want to move it a bit? yeah, it's just subjective
  10. 01:16:297 (1) - currently touching the hp bar on default skin.

    [Normal]
  11. similar as on hard, for sake of consistency maybe you'd want delete some unused green lines.
  12. 00:36:803 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - I honestly feel like this streams is too long for a normal diff, why not deleting 00:38:702 (5) - ? would emphasize 00:38:892 - nicely imo.
  13. 00:51:993 (1) - wow. lovely shape.

map looks ready tbh, better to call a bn next. GL!

mv1 wth

Normal :

00:18:575 - 00:24:651 - I think that part should be denser/as dense as that part 00:12:499 - 00:18:196 - because the song's intensity is pretty high here but you kinda put less notes on that part which is illogic to me
00:51:993 (1,2) - I think you can adjust the 1 slider curve to blanket the 2 better like this
01:25:411 - 01:29:588 - Same thing as I said above, should be denser here !

Sulfur's Hard :

00:03:385 (1,2) - I think you should overlap it more or not overlap it at all, picking one of the 2 options would make it better visually
00:11:265 (6) - Missing hitsound ?
00:24:272 (10,11,12,13,1) - uh, a stream on a Hard diff is not allowed, make a 1/4 reverse slider instead I guess
00:27:310 (10) - replace it to a single note as there's no sound here 00:27:499 -
00:32:056 (5) - same as above, no sound here 00:32:246 -
00:33:196 (9) - replacing it by 2 notes instead will make the drum here 00:33:385 - clickable which will represent the song better I guess
01:11:550 (6,8) - give them a bit more space between theses 2 sliders to make it more clear
01:19:904 (3) - you should move it to 01:20:094 - so the vocal & drum will be clickable, following the song a lot better. You can put a note here 01:19:904 - if you apply this suggestion
01:25:031 (12,1) - stack them because you always stacked on the same breaks before (01:12:879 (10,1) - 01:18:385 (7,8,1) - for example)

Fragile Light :

00:34:335 (3) - whistle on the headslider ?
00:59:968 (2) - was the clap & whistle put on purpose on the sliderend ? it feels out of place :(

I really love the last diff ! It looks very cool in the editor and it's fun to play, great stuff !

Can't wait for this set to get ranked :D

00:51:993 (1,2) - I think you can adjust the 1 slider curve to blanket the 2 better like this adjusted alittle
01:25:411 - 01:29:588 - Same thing as I said above, should be denser here ! should be fine now too

Fragile Light :

00:34:335 (3) - whistle on the headslider ? fixed
00:59:968 (2) - was the clap & whistle put on purpose on the sliderend ? it feels out of place :( yea it kinda is on purpose but i change it now to make it the same as other slider hitsounds

I really love the last diff ! It looks very cool in the editor and it's fun to play, great stuff ! thanks :D

Can't wait for this set to get ranked :D
Thanks for mod!

also added normal-sliderslide ok nvm its not needed. i thought i heard the annoying brush sounds again so i add it lol

Sulfur's Hard :

00:03:385 (1,2) - I think you should overlap it more or not overlap it at all, picking one of the 2 options would make it better visually sure
00:11:265 (6) - Missing hitsound ? u write
00:24:272 (10,11,12,13,1) - uh, a stream on a Hard diff is not allowed, make a 1/4 reverse slider instead I guess ya the are allowed
00:27:310 (10) - replace it to a single note as there's no sound here 00:27:499 - there is a sound on this sliderend wot the
00:32:056 (5) - same as above, no sound here 00:32:246 -sure i guess
00:33:196 (9) - replacing it by 2 notes instead will make the drum here 00:33:385 - clickable which will represent the song better I guess alright
01:11:550 (6,8) - give them a bit more space between theses 2 sliders to make it more clear okay
01:19:904 (3) - you should move it to 01:20:094 - so the vocal & drum will be clickable, following the song a lot better. You can put a note here 01:19:904 - if you apply this suggestion id rather keep it as it is since both these red ticks got a kick on it and theres prominent vocal on 01:20:284 -
01:25:031 (12,1) - stack them because you always stacked on the same breaks before (01:12:879 (10,1) - 01:18:385 (7,8,1) - for example) ok but i cant do it here coz revers arrow would not be visible

Heyo!

Normal
  1. 00:14:778 (6) - kinda off rhythm here bc it the only one not on the main melody, Would stick to a rhythm on the red tick like placing this slider 1/2 earlier and adding a circle afterwards
  2. 00:22:183 (2,3) - try control g the rhythm here, catch the main melody and the piano with the strongest drum at the end clickable
  3. 00:24:272 (7) - Would make this a 1/2 slider instead for the 1/4 drumroll to have that increase of intensity a bit represented
  4. 00:33:765 (1,2) - would just copy this rhythm 00:35:284 (3,4,5) - like you did at 00:45:917 (1,2,3) - (2) is kinda out of place bc the drums are on red and you abondon the vocals right after anyway so just sticking to main melody seems best here (bit more inline wiht the rest density wise too)
  5. 01:31:866 (1) - finsh on here would be nice
Hard

  1. Would lower to AR to 7 here to fit the spread a bit better and high ar isn't really needed that much bc of the constant ds
  2. 01:02:436 (3) - place a bit higher so you got 1.60ish ds for both
  3. 00:57:689 - Would add a note here, has that low piano zoom aswell, and fits with 01:00:727 (3,1) - nicely
  4. 01:22:753 (2,3) - try control g the rhythm here for that vocal following, makes 01:22:753 (2,3,4,5) - play a lot smoother too bc the circle into stacked circles feels kida off
  5. 01:31:107 (8,9,10) - make this a 4 note stream too for consistency with 00:24:272 (10,11,12,13) - 01:30:348 (6,7) - circle slider clicle here for that vocal might be better afterwards rhythm wise to have a circle lead into the stream but current rhythm is also good
  6. 01:37:563 (8) - NC
  7. Really relaxing to play! First hard diff I've seen in a long time where double returns actually kinda fit
Top Diff
  1. 00:12:120 (5) - 3/4 slow slider would fit really nicely as a transition like you did for the same sound at 00:18:196 (1) -
  2. 01:22:942 (4,5,6,7) - would control g 01:22:942 (4,5) - this so you capture the highpoint of the vocals, that double stacking feels really out of place with the rest of the map and there isn't really anything strog extending at 01:23:132 (5) - atm
  3. 01:34:525 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3) - Would go for a gradual decrease in volume lvls here instead of going straitht to 30%, fits the fade out better
  4. 01:37:563 (3) - can end with 15-20% finish here for those cymbals if you want (both ^ apply all diffs I Think)
Nice set! Call me back!

All applied! had to move bunch of stuff on 00:33:765 (1,2) though cus of the flow

i came

uhh wait

hard:
- 00:10:791 (4,5) - not recommended, would move 4 even if it's the first object. it's used once and never again so yea
- 00:30:727 - sv in this entire section feels so sluggish, like https://i.imgur.com/U9d3oIS.png is 1.5x ds... would bump sv up to 1x at most imo

rest seems fine i guess

normal diff seems mostly fine but a lot of these sliders 00:38:132 (4) - can be swapped out for circles or rhythms like https://i.imgur.com/TzEm6GV.png instead. chains like 00:15:537 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - 00:36:803 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - 01:22:373 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - are a little too long for the lowest diff

also you can use more spacing like 0.9x or 1.0x if you do nerf things since it's kinda sluggish for a newbie rn

gonna pop for the normal so you can fix this and since removing a lot of notes/etc requires major changes. call me when you change it so i can confirm and then wishkey can rebubble (i'll qualify)

note that i said at most, that means you can still do 0.9 or 0.95 so do consider those?
